On a closer look it was physically impossible for him to keep standing. He had no choice but to go down. Just because he is a big lad does not mean he is immune to the law of physics.
The police/steward presence seemed very OTT. Maybe because of the actions of one or two fans last years QF?
The last 15 mins+ of the game, there was just a line of stewards in front of the away fans/Y25/Y26.
Also it was apparently a sell out, but the official attendance was about 1000 off. Seemed quite a bit of segregation around the away end which must have taken a few hundred off.
A complete over reaction is what it was. No point what so ever in the coppers standing in front of Y26-Y25. Had we won and people wanted to get on the pitch they would have just climed over further down the stand. Probably a reaction to the coin throwing in the last round and as Madejski has said due to last season's quarter final replay.
