Really need a good performance, but most importantly 3 points. We had started to get our season together and we were pushing up towards the higher end of the table, but the last month has been awful. We have lost games and played absolutely awful in every one of those games.

My team would be:
-------------------------Stephens-------------------------
--Odoffin------Nelson------Dembele-----Johnson--
--Yiadom-----Togwell------Champion---Gambin---
-----------------McClean------Akinde-------------------

Around 150 bees? I think that awful performances recently, will reduce our away following

Mine would be
--------------Stacey------------------
Akinde--Gambin--Clarke--Gash
Nelson-Dembele-Stephens-N'Gala
-------McKenzie Lyle--Johnson---

They all move one positon clockwise every 15 minutes.

Cant believe I'm still planning on going to this one.

It seems at present we have pushed on a little better than you lot this season. I'm not points scoring but why do you think this has happened.
Have you lost any decent players since promotion ? What has been your recruitment like ?

Our recruitment has been awful and Martin Allen's tinkering with the team has unsettled us. Also, we have felt the loss of Luisma who was homesick and returned to Spain. Without him, we lack any guile or variety in our approach play.

Get King Kev fit* and you'll be fine. Man is class.

*Impossible, as he is shot. Perhaps you could cannibalise Shaun Batt for spare parts?

Goes without saying how important a win is, but for me, the team we put out is nearly as important. If we have another bizarre team selection and lose then that's "time gentlemen please" for Allen.

I was sure after the Notts County debacle that we would revert to basics against Mansfield... we didn't.
I was pretty sure after the Mansfield debacle that we would revert to basics against Newport... we didn't.
I'm unsure after the Newport debacle that he will go back to playing our best players in their best position, but if we don't after three abject displays with three mix and match teams, then we can't afford to waste more time with a relatively easier December programme being spurned, and a much harder January on the horizon.

Last chance saloon. Get your order right.

If we don't pull our finger out this month then the answer might be different, Newport are climbing, Daggers and Yeovil are showing signs of life. Definitely need to get our act together and fast as we have been very poor for the last few weeks

Personally, Barnet look far too good to go down

Thanks for the kiss of death.

Allen cocked up the summer recruitment. Letting several talented players leave and signing Conference standard cloggers and crocked OAPs. Now he has this superstition that every team lineup must be unique and players must be forced into different positions or else we are to predictable.

To sum it up, the plot has been well and truly lost. Can see us winning this mind you. We at least know how to turn up against the proper shit in this division.

At what point?

We've been shameful in our last 4 games, endless hoofing with no coherent game plan.

The plot has well and truly been lost and Allen must go if we lose on Saturday.

To be honest we should scrap the game and settle this properly.

Muggleton vs Tozer throw-off.

Conference defences generally couldn't handle Akinde, especially the bottom half sides who he generally had a field day against. Our record against the better sides was mixed. Our record against everyone else was outstanding. If you took Akinde out of our squad, we would have struggled to have finished top five last season imo.

You on the other hand recovered from a ropey start and then looked a very solid, if unspectacular outfit.

Throw in a pretty poor set of summer signings for us and I am not at all surprised that you have adapted better this season.

I can't speak about Barnet's performances obviously, so I believe you Bees when you say you're very poor presently. However, imo, it all depends on the likes of York, Daggers etc, and they are certainly poorer than you lot. We were terrible from January onwards last year and yet still managed to stay up, and it was only because Tranmere, Cheltenham and a couple of other sides were even worse than we were.

In other words, I can't see Barnet getting sucked into a relegation battle, because for that to happen, the other struggling sides would have to improve A LOT. Yes, it's not impossible as Hartlepool proved last year, but they were also helped massively by 2/3 sides that were simply awful, and I don't think Barnet are anywhere near that level of ineptitude.

We are at the moment, unfortunately. Mansfield and Newport were both far better than us.

Don't think its a relegation 6 pointer-- But its defiantly a game Yeovil must win.

2-0 Looks like McLean\Akinde is the best front two combination for us.

Why bring on defensive mids at half time when 2-0 up? It's almost like you're inviting an onslaught. It's absolute stupidity and it never works except against teams who have not got a clue.

Look on the bright side, at least Allen played a proper team with players in their correct position for half of the match.

2-0 up with 10 minutes to go against bottom of the table, finish 2-2 (and by the look of the highlights, lucky not to concede again?)

Yet MA says that's a 'good point'. Fuck off. What the fuck about that is in any way good?

We're so shit, it's unbelievable. I really don't see how teams lose to us - we're always under the cosh week after week, game after game. How long does this shit, negative, 'lucky' football need to continue before Allen gets kicked out? There's nothing enjoyable about this football club at the moment.

Ignoring how the game panned out, I'd say that was a good point. We had to avoid defeat and we did.

I'm glad MA reverted back to what looked a far more sensible team selection and from the sounds of it, we did at least play reasonably well for half a game.

That's like finding a wallet with thousands of pounds in it and then losing it all except for 50p, then saying 'oh well, ignoring the thousands I could have had, it's good I've made 50p'

You can't ignore something like blowing a 2 goal lead In 10 minutes against the bottom of the table team. It's not a good point, it's two huge points lost and Allen is failing to notice or acknowledge that.

He needs to leave this club before things get any worse.
