Sad news. I've never really been able to get into Star Trek, but I still always thought he was a pretty cool dude. His appearances in The Simpsons are superb and he was great in Fringe.

The original Star Trek was part of my youth and my favourite programme as a kid. Felt a bit sorry for Nimoy after reading an interview with him saying he tried to be known for other roles than Spock but he couldn't get away from it. Be interesting to see what his family do regarding his funeral.

Someone posted a video of him as a Simpsons character. Thought it was just for the hell of it and not in remembrance of the dude.

Never been all that into Star Trek so can't tell I knew the guy all that much. RIP.

Always liked Nimoy, a multi-talented man and he had the coolest character of the original cast.

I don't do shit like Star Trek and Star Wars, so only knew him from Fringe. Of which he was awesome in.

Was sad to see news of his passing last week. RIP.
