Fully agree, I am a huge Mickelson fan, but oh how I'd like to see him stuff his second in a pond.

To be fair Moore's just gone Eagle Birdie to square the match.

Sadly it doesn't really matter what Westwood and Kaymer do now as we are too far behind in the matches further down.

It's gone now. :(

Battling well but just a shame Willet and Kaymer have had a shocking week (for example) - you'd hope for more from them.

Kaymer yes, he's been there and done it, but Willet hasn't played well since his Masters flash in the pan. He's dickhead brother couldn't have helped either.

Moore to win it now unless Westwood can win the 18th.

Fair point (and Martin looks like he might win now!)

Agreed on Willet - maybe the Masters win got to his and his brother's head.

I read his brother was a teacher - wonder how many would get away with writing insults about people on a public website! (Even if he had a point..)

A sad end to a great Ryder Cup career for Westwood, I very much doubt he'll make the side again in 2018.

Done then. Only interest now is that I've got £25 on 16-12.

He's had an absolute mare, still can't putt and lost so many key moments.

Ah well, we'll beat them in France in 2018.

I said a few days back, losing Arnold Palmer would unite the US side, just like Europe wanted to badly win for Seve. Add Willets brothers ill-advised contribution and the US had all the motivation they needed. That said, they still had to play well, and that they did. One of the great team performances in any sport in recent times IMHO.

Kaymer's doing his best for you but I'm not sure where the other point will come from.

And now that's gone now. Oh well, looks like 17-11 and a bit of a spanking.

We came back strong from a similar result at Valhalla there is every reason to think we can do so again in 2018, it'll certainly add a lot more edge to those matches.

Hopefully some of the rookies who have experienced this Ryder Cup will be better players in two years time. Add in the likes of Knox, Lowry, Noren, Luiten, Hatton, Levy, Wiesberger and maybe even Beef :) and there are good players coming through with the likes of Molinari, McDowell, Donald and Poulter hopefully still in contention.

Then there are the likes of Dubuisson, Manessero and Olesen who should be world players not languishing as low down the rankings as they are, they're much better than that.
