Even though I'm going to the game I know what to expect. An awful performance as we embarrass ourselves again.

That is correct. I was highlighting the baffling decision allowing Concord (who cheated)to have a replay.

Can we just skip this week please? Pretty indifferent win, draw or lose.

Be thankful you arent going mate. A truly horrible place to watch football.
I've been to Bradford once this week for my partner's graduation, I have no intention of going a second time in a week, trust me.

From what I've heard, it makes Barrow and Stalybridge look like Las Vegas.

Can see us struggling again, we love a banana skin against supposedly inferior opposition. If it meant we could concentrate on going for a play off place, it wouldn't be the end of the world losing tomorrow.

It's wrong, but it's what happened to Northwich Victoria (the crap owner club, not the fans one) in the FA Cup.

Hope you smash them in the replay and justice is done. Everyone knows the rules, the FA are just being weird changing it around this season for no good reason. Ineligible player = kicked out.

Expecting to lose, we're playing a weakened team and despite what some claim we wont be that up for it. Havant have some decent players and will want it more.

Interesting that we can field a second string that includes the likes of David Pipe, Marcus Kelly, Delano Sam-Yorke, Keanu Marsh-Brown, Aaron O'Connor and Brett Williams. Good strength in depth that.

Yes, you wouldn't expect a weakened/second string side to be very strong, that is unless you had shitloads of money to spunk of course. :dk:

I wonder how many 'hard but fair' tackles Mr Bogle will receive from his ex teammates if he plays tomorrow.........

Pitch inspection tomorrow at 10am. Been called now on the basis that tonight's weather is very bad over there as opposed to the pitch being unplayable now.

Lump it to Rhead tactics will suit that pitch perfectly :)
If it's on!

We are, i hope we get beat and its byebye brabin
It has been made clear by the co-chairs that Brabin is going nowhere. You may, like me, not like that very much, but shit happens.

As for the Wrexham game, expect a few changes, but a fairly strong side for Rovers. As we've little prospect of making the play-offs, might as well have a stab at this, but doubt there will be a happy outcome for Rovers. I'm not going and expect the home crowd will be well down.

Will it be a Tuesday night or do they knock it back to the next Saturday and cancel a league game?

No chance the game at Bradford is going on. They can't play between November and February for poor pitches. Them and Guiseley/Halifax often seem to end up with horrendous fixture pileups

Both us and Halifax have much improved pitches now. The night we played Macc in the monsoon, the game was played through to the end yet Bradford City's home game at Valley Parade was called off 15 minutes before kick off!

Lot of work went in to our pitch in the summer to fix the drainage/waterlogging issues (ironically adding sprinkler system) and the last two saturdays have recieved deluges of rain which would have easily have seen matched called off in the past. So far so good.

Obviously i am aware that by posting this i know our game will now be off and so will look to make other plans.

Pretty much agree with this.
Normally I would of liked to of gone to this game as it's the first time we've ever played in this competition. Last week for the umpteenth time the players never turned up, this week it's the fans who won't turn up.

I'll be surprised if our game at Burscough goes ahead if the forecast is correct

Dread to think of the reaction if we dare to lose tomorrow, even in this thing. There's pressure on Burr. He's made no secret he'd like a run in this, we're not going up and unlikely to go down, so why not?

To be honest, galvanising the fan base a bit is the next step we need to try and push us on a bit further, you'd realistically at least need to make the final to make that happen though.
