He was terrible all round, the decision to give rovers a throw when he told us where to take the throw from and we moved was odd, and then they did exactly the same a minute later and he didn’t do anything.

Results went our way today, happy with the point
You must be gutted not to have been given that throw in?

On the positive side there’s something for you to obsess with for the rest of the season alongside the opening game.

Disappointing not to have held on but got to happy with a draw away to Newport given our respective circumstances.

That’s 8 points from 4. Very good return.

Need to beat Bradford at home next Saturday now. Should be a bumper crowd.

In fairness we’ve had some dodgy ones of late as well. The ref really should noticing that though.

Big 3 points that! Stick with 433, Bogle is such an improvement on what we have had this season..: but then again big Mike Fondop getting two today off is surreal.

Agreed, fair cop to Lee for sticking with the formation, could've easily went to a back five and tried to play for a point, went attacking against a team in some good form and won, credit to him.

As for Big Mike, they must've hit him and went in.

They decide games and we have had the same all season long. Might as well ask them what they want the result to be and forget about playing it. Maybe they can all get together each week and decide results like the old play-by-mail

Genuinely never been more bored at a game before. We were hopeless, absolutely dreadful and wouldn't have scored if Exeter had gone home at HT. If Jevani Brown could finish we would've lost by at least 3.

Adams out.

1 goal in 9 games now and the same old for us, lost to a far more hungrier side in the second half, let another goal in from a set play and the players once we fell behind gave up and stopped running. We never, ever look like scoring.

Jackett needs to be sacked now otherwise we will likely go down, the players have now simply stopped running for him, but that was evident last week.

Also huge apathy now from our crowd, as soon as we fell behind there was silence and again at the full time whistle apart from a few boos, total silence. Everyones just accepted we're fucked now and tbh i don't blame them as I am the same.

Honestly we’ve genuinely had some stinkers this season, but the tide turned recently, the penalty decision today, a late disallowed Hartlepool goal not too long back aswell, the problem is league wide with the standard of the officials being ridiculously low.

Fair comment, although with bad refs you expect to get some dodgy decisions go in your favour too. We don't seem to get those.

Down to ten, only one winner here. FFS. Should have had two penalties in the first half apparently too.

I hate being disrespectful to fellow league 2 sides and we weren't great today but Scunthorpe were exactly the team we needed to play against today, absolutely hopeless opposition. We scored a cracking first after they decided to throw the ball straight to us from a throw in and then we got a fluky second and the game was over. Icing on the cake with a penalty, good for Josh Davison to get 2 goals but he wasn't great. Another injury as Ben Gladwin went off. Anthony Grant did his best but Scunthorpe looked like a non-league side unfortunately.

Carlisle away next week looks an excellent chance to get another 3 points and McKirdy I'm sure will be fired up after his goal today.

Overall I thought 0-0 was a fair result. We were atrocious first half and Mansfield looked the only team who wanted to actually play football. 2nd half was the complete opposite so I’m guessing the wind had a lot to do with that.

Whenever you finish a game the stronger team you always feel like you should have a more, but over the 90 mins it was pretty even. No one did enough to actually win and neither did enough to lose it either tbh.

Ref was poor and inconsistent for both sides it has to be said, however Mansfield will be happier with his performance after the pen no doubt.

Terrible game of football all round, but Exeter looked as comfortable as you could ever hope to home or away. There must have been a record number of throws in that I can’t remember the ball been in play for more than 30 seconds at a time if we were lucky.

I wish everyone at the club would fuck off, as Adams himself said Bradford are a club who have to go for promotion at this level and between him, our appalling owner and a cheap inexperienced CEO we will never be getting promoted so you all know where the door is.

I’d rather Rupp sell the club for a quid to the local homeless bloke on Manningham lane as they’d invest the same amount of money in the club. If sustainable football only allows you to bring in rejects from the likes of Scunthorpe, Port Vale, Hartlepool and Wrexham then you can keep it.

Yems got a red card at the end of the game for saying something to the ref. Its hardly the refs thought we were crap! Yeah, a few decisions he got wrong but don't they all? I'm thinking it's a way to divert attention from the fact that Crawley were given a bit of a football lesson today.

Tilley was completely unconscious after being hit straight in the face. One of the physios was holding his neck still and they both appeared very concerned. Hats off to the Hartlepool physios getting involved and helping too.

Penalty shout for us in the second half. Never a pen but I would have gratefully accepted it but something kicked of with the keeper and the crowd. He certainly enjoyed himself at their expense at the end of the game. A few choice words shouted by him!

Good luck for the rest of the season.

Decent enough game at the Lane today.

I felt Sutton were the more dominant side in the 1st half without creating too much until Kenny Davis’ beautifully taken free-kick on 37 minutes.

FGR came out for the 2nd half early and on fire and it was inevitable that they would equalise.

The FGR goal woke us up a little and we started to get back into it, and had a great spell after the introduction of ex-FGR man Omar Bugiel on 70 minutes, during which 2 shots were cleared off the line, the 2nd of which was extremely close to being fully over the line, if not a smidge fully over. It was too close to call however.

Our momentum more or less burst following our final substitution and FGR were in control for the remainder of the game, without creating a solid chance to take all 3 points, save for a couple of (what looked like from the Sutton end) rather theatric falling overs in the Sutton penalty area.

Over the course of the 90 minutes both sides did enough to avoid losing without really doing enough to win. A point apiece seems about fair.

He's probably too arrogant to realise this but the moment a manager starts talking like this about his own teams fans then it's a matter of time really for them to go. Not very smart really from him.

kicked off 90 mins late due to floodlight issues.
1st half Amari-Holloway hit the post and we should have had 2 clear penalties (even the Stevenage commentator said so apparently)
2nd half Amari-Holloway stretches for a tackle on Chris Lines who fakes a career ending injury (was obviously up running around perfectly fine 60 seconds later) and ref shows Amari-Holloway a red card (was a yellow card offence at worst), then another pen not given as Brough was brought down in the box.
Stevenage had a lot of pressure late on but were toothless up front. Stevenage's No6 (Luke Prosser) then scythes down one of the Barrow players in the 96th minute - a tackle far worse than Holloways and only gets a yellow - but it's his 2nd so he's sent off aswell.
never dull up here....

He's ridiculously arrogant, isn't he? In the same interview he also said "I've got all the records in League Two. I'm a league one manager who's dropped down a level."

Moment in the second half where he told some fans to shit down and shut up. I genuinely hope he goes soon. People who've been going 50+ years and they don't want to go anymore. He's really that bad. I think McCall or Trueman would have this team higher.
