Pretty poor first half at Grimsby, one of those where it felt we were maybe a bit better but created very little with them creating nothing so just about value for the lead.

Missing our entire midfield so doing OK all considered. The away end is a disaster waiting to happen, along with idiotically placed nets if something ignites I’m dead.

Leyton Orient 2-0 up at the break at Gander Green Lane. The first from a free kick that initially hit the lower part of the crossbar and as it came down, hit Jack Rose and went in.

The second was a beautiful strike from outside the area.

We’re currently engaged in damage limitation

Askey has gambled and changed the system around, not worked at all. Desperate stuff this.

Having been gifted an early goal by Crawley sounds like we’ve been poor since and deserve to be behind. Unable to help our fellow northerners avoid the drop, not that they’re helping themselves much at h/t.

This is like a Paul Hartley team performance, Sylla and Featherstone combo needs splitting up, play one or the other.

We’re so shit at home it’s getting ridiculous now, only 4 wins at home all season yet we’ve managed to win 9 away.

Terrible penalty by Khan but great anticipation and header from Lloyd to gobble up the rebound. 1-1

Rebecca Welsh failing to give us the refereeing favour we’re owed against Northampton. Don’t think it was over the line to be fair.

Yup,we've managed fine without Featherstone recently.
Although I wouldn't single him out ,as everyone of them have been crap.

Aye, just praying on that Tranmere equaliser to salvage this abortion of a performance!

We've been totally clinging on for most of this game, no idea how we haven't conceded. If we do, a second will surely follow.

We never looked like scoring a second so a Rochdale being generous hosts have helped us out.

Utter crap today. Worst performance under Askey, we haven’t looked like scoring at any point, the midfields been non existent and the defence has looked all over the place

Gonna need back to back home wins and probably something from Salford or Stockport.

My survival optimism has plummeted after today.

There is a late winner coming at BP I’m just not sure at which end it will be. What a great end to end second half so far, so much better than the shite first half.

Same, Crawley are at home to Colchester and we have Salford away.

We could be well behind before we even play Crawley

If Mansfield are the standard to be in the play offs then there is hope for teams like Grimsby next season, especially if teams like Grimsby can sign a striker.

....and breathe.

Could if had another in the second half but it was a crap pen to give away and a crap attempt at converting it.

Comfortable win for City. Should've had 3 and the game wrapped up in 20 minutes, then Rochdale came into it either side of half time without really threatening (other than a couple of daft defensive moves).

Our second and third both had elements of luck to them but the better team won. Good luck in the National League, Rochdale.

And a new keeper, that's one blunder too many from Crocombe for me. He's backup at best. Thought he could go toe to toe with someone else for the #1 spot but not sure now.

What are you talking about - the away end is luxury compared to the Main Stand down the side to your right.

Dont think were the standard for owt really might make the play offs in fact i think cloughie is relying on getting the injured players back for the last four games hence no changes today if it works hes a genius if not its adios amigo for me

Not sure what Hurst puts in the half time cups of tea but 1 shot in the first half then 14 shots in the second. Similar-ish to Doncaster away where we were terrible in the first half then like a team possessed in the second, only difference in the games is that Mansfield were also still dangerous in the second half whereas Donny did absolutely fuck all.

Good day for us. Our victory was a fairly routine one - we absolutely battered Rochdale in the first 10/15 and made them look like a pub side. They got back into it and were gifted a chance by Stubbs but Lewis with a big save kept them out. Second half was as straightforward as you could wish for.

Six goals in two games is unheard of for us and Cook has only scored one of them! That and we've finally had our first goal from a defender this season. It all seems to be coming together at the right time.

We are completely reliant on getting our midfield back to do anything this season now.

Pretty ordinary performance from us outside of the first twenty minutes, but we didn't need anything more than that. Was very happy with how comfortable it was after some of our displays against the weaker teams this season. Unbeaten in eleven, two points off the automatics, and a game in hand. Lovely.
