Loving how the Tranmere and Newport lot are gloating about their 6 points, how did those points work out for you in the end? once a tinpot always a tinpot.
You are a poor excuse for a troll, if you want some advice on getting some proper bites go and see B2TF in the non league section he is the forum expert on it.

Im not celebrating anything until the maths say it's over, We lost at Grimsby deservedly so, anything can happen, likewise until the math's say differently i still hope we can win the league.

What needs to be realised is this season weirdly Bolton have had two seperate teams, the first half of the season we gifted all of you a real start, mainly by fielding a team of last minute misfits and sticking with a kid in goal that was not ready for first team football.

The real team turned up in February on the 5th we were 19th IF we get promoted then it is one of the greatest turn arounds in football history. and i've seen all the Bolton teams since the 60's .

Tranmere fans really should not be gloating you have more Bolton connections than we have lol.

It’s not gloating it’s more adding some humour to the most pathetic opening post of a thread I’ve ever seen!

For what it’s worth I don’t think we win at FGR on Saturday and can’t see Morecambe catching you either so think you’re up. I’ve always maintained that if you finish in the top 3 at the end of the season then it’s because you deserve it. And you guys do. Your turnaround has been exceptional.

I have to say mate that with you taking 6 points off us this season I’m not sure I want you to go up if we do. We can’t be losing those 6 points again next season! :gr: Let Salford go up. We took 6 points off them....

Given Masi's obsession with living in the past I find it surprising that he has a computer powerful enough to run three internet tabs for each account.
Matt you are living up to your name...........very dull you need to add some gloss to your life

You’ve only appeared on here at the beginning of the season to wave your cock about how you would be up by Easter, then disappeared until your lot finally got going and have managed to get in the top 3. At least masi didn’t hide whilst you were shit.

Congrats to the decent Bolton fans.
There`s no such creature. They are all knuckle dragging half wits who are deluded enough to think their club is some kind of Lancastrian Real Madrid. I`d love it if Exeter beat them on Saturday.

Well at least we have something to play for now. Play like we did for the last 15 minutes tonight and we will wipe the floor with Bolton. Though it helps if you are playing against ten men.

Makes for a good game, 2 teams who need the win.

Yeah can't see us losing to Bolton at all. As long as either Newport lose or FGR/Salford only manage at draw at best then we go into the last game in a very strong position. But do we really want to go through the play offs again? Ugh.

I’ve found the bolton fans mildly amusing, i guess being down here is like some of us being in the northern premier league or something.

Though we ended up losing winding up evatt about our pitch was absolutely brilliant, he kept saying it was tinpot and terrible and we were like “yeah, pretty much” .

Still the reality is that being excited about being in league 1 goes to show how far they’ve fallen and they won’t ever be what they were.

Irrespective in bury we’ve already lost a side in greater manchester (though for some reason places like bury and oldham insist they’re in lancashire when they aren’t) and i hope bolton find their financial feet again, it’s a decent town with regular hard working fans

Play that starting 11 you did last night the will be only one winner
I think you will come out and have a go at us.....with that starting 11 we will hammer you.
Start with Jay and Bowman then it will be another game completly.........The last team who came to us and never sat back was Walsall and they give us all sorts of problems

We are and always have been in Lancashire.....just because some civil servant in London changed it in 1974 does not change fact.
Never be excited about being in lge 1, and yes we will be back in the Premiership within 10 years.
We have already landed on our financial feet with new good owners.
We headhunted and paid good money to get Evatt and made a big mistake to employ a Dof who led last summers recruitment drive.
The board backed Evatt by sacking the dof and promoting Evatt last December.
The board backed Evatt in the January transfer window better than any team in lge 2 history.
That backing will carry on in the summer

We don't sit back, it's against those teams that we struggle against. When teams come at us with we destroy them - Hence our goal difference and see the Cambridge game recently. We can't break teams down to save our lives when they just sit back. With you trying for autos I think we'll go on and win very comfortably. (Yes if we don't use the same starting 11 as we did last night - Because that was beyond a joke)

Definitively we look ok. Unbeaten in 4 and have conceded just two goals in those 4 games, both of them being last night.

Cocky so-and-so that I am, I had written up match preview before Barrow defeat and was fully expecting FGR to be competing in the Play-offs. Therefore some quick rewrites.

"After ElGlosico the team most FGR supporters look forward to playing is Tranmere Rovers.

The history between the two clubs is very short but each has got to know the other very well. A few years ago a Tranmere supporter asked: “Where the fuck is Forest Green?”

I bet he now knows the way to The New Lawn without the aid of Satnav.

Some of the results beggar belief:

In April 2017 FGR pulled off their first win over the other Rovers, but against the run of play. That set up FGR nicely for a National League promotion final against same opponents. They had a more comfortable win than a few weeks earlier.

When Tranmere joined FGR in EFL2 they lost both league matches but won promotion play-off semi against the Villagers !

A little while ago it looked as if there could be a third meeting in play-offs in 3 consecutive seasons that both clubs have been in same division. But FGR have fallen out of the top seven and must depend on others failing to regain a place in play-offs.

And if FGR don’t sneak into play-offs I wish Tranmere the very best of success in Final. But before then I’d like FGR to beat them on Saturday."

With Grimsby down I don’t have too much issue with us making changes as it doesn’t affect anything now.

We could do with a look at the young keeper we signed from Man City to see if worth a deal.

With 8 wins and a draw in our last 9 we’ve hit the top half and would like to finish the season there so a win here would set that chance up nicely.

Grimsby will be without Matete who seems to have been behind their improvement.

So far we’ve not tailed off the intensity and work ethic despite being dead rubbers so hopefully we carry that on and don’t hit the beach as a strong final two games would take this buzz into the summer.

0-1 Conlon.

Harrogate away. A point should be enough for promotion but a win gives us a chance of the title. With Harrogate playing in the FA Trophy on the Monday at Wembley I'm hoping they will have their mind on other things.

3-1 to the U's.

Fair play mate, lets see where we all end up, as they say "it's afunny old game" so maybe more twists yet. What is weird is normally it's a clear picture but at this point has pointed our previously We could win the league or get promoted automatically yet still end up in the play offs and miss out !! same for others very confusing yet weirdly exciting.

Bolton have requested that fans do not congregate at their ground for Saturday's match.

And yet they (Evatt) actively encouraged and celebrated Bolton fans congregating at Morecambe's ground last Saturday in spite of being requested not to do so.
