Standard home win over an ex-league side. Own goal after 3 minutes gave us a 1-0 win. Wrexham's 'keeper made some good saves to keep the score down. I don't think Wrexham had a shot on target, some decent possession but not even a penultimate product let alone an end one. Still I'm a happy Jared tonight

An improvement on Tuesday's horrorshow but that didn't take much. Guiseley had the better chances and if they had someone who can kick the ball in the netty thing they'd have won. We lacked urgency and creativity. Our midfield is non-existent.

Aldershot shouldn't have too many problems in embarrassing us on Boxing Day.

Gutted and genuinely surprised by today's result.

Plenty of chances and failure to convert them has cost us in the end. Still a long way to go in this season and we'll have to start by putting a bang average Macclesfield side to the sword twice.

Yeah we we were abject, created nothing until Jordan White had a great chance with a header in the final minute.
You've pretty much summed up how we've been for several seasons now.

Goodness me Maidstone even more disappointed that you didnt beat Boreham Wood now. How have you conceded two to Ferriby?

Fantastic win for Lincoln

Great win and everything but jeez, that crowd! Over 6,000 is superb, we weren't even getting that when we were in the L2 play-offs.

Mangan clearly dived for the penalty, or "tripped himself up", I should say.

Particularly off the back of the glut of home games we've had and a week before Xmas.

Wouldn't be so sure, think we've only won 3 in 15...

We were in a very festive mood today as we wrapped up and handed the 3 points over to Chester!

Wrexham v Woking on January 7th is going to be hilarious. Why can't BT Sport put that one on?

Just seen the video and it's a definite dive for the pen.

How a fan of a club that employs the biggest cheat in the league can moan about diving is beyond me. When are the refs in this league going to wake up to Rhead?

Rhead doesn't dive. He's good a getting his body in to draw fouls and yes, sometimes goes down easily, but Mangan (or Norwood) just plain dived this afternoon. Now that's cheating.

Rhead plays the game very well. Everyone does it, he's just the best at it.

It's hard to tell from that clip if contact or not, but agree not a penalty.

The thing I disliked about Rhead was the way he was feigning being elbowed, trying to get opponents into trouble.

Because we're shite. The only reason I'm not bringing out the knives for Dawes is the slack he's earned from the past few years.

Daggers don't look like a side going for promotion. A low crowd there today as well.

The fuck are you doing Maidstone?
We're terrible we really are...I've lost all hope in this group of players and starting to question what the heck our manager is doing. All we do is constant hoof ball up to 5 foot nothing midgets up front. It never works, yet sod it lets continue doing it anyway :ffs:

Also our manager thought we needed 2 holding midfielders against a team that have only scored 11 bloody goals all season...

Yeah we're clueless

Just back. We were abject first half and improved to abysmal in the second. We are shit in both boxes, sort that and we might be better to watch.

Lump on 0-0 against Woking on the telly Boxing Day, and what's more, the the whole world get to see it.

It's 100% a dive.

Funny Lincoln fans complaining considering Rhead throws himself down pretty easily for a 20 stone lump.

I dunno why they're worried - the 'Cowleys' won the league back in September.

Got out of jail today, Dover looked much more likely for a good eighty minutes even if they did niggle a fair amount and go to ground easy at times. We seemed to have conceded midfield with a new shape to accommodate two up front but weren't threatening much to compensate, Dover sat on their lead a bit having pulled up trees which was fair enough but that let us finally get plenty of ball into the box and a late reward. Performance of play off challengers rather than potential title hopes imo, loads of talent but can't boss a game.
