*Wrexham fan

People are getting a bit carried away because of their registration numbers on Ticketmaster which are well into the 6ks but its nowhere near that. We will sell quite a lot though this year.

For the first two home games we will only have 2 stands open so going to be a bit intimate for those games.
Yeah absolutely no doubt about it that this year will be your highest ST sales in a long time and with good reason too… but being realistic I would say the final figure will fall between 3000 and 3500.

Talk of 6000 / 7000 season tickets is laughable tbf. They’re the kind of figures for teams that average around 10-12k home fans on a match day

the general jist on twitter and our forum is that pretty much all season ticket holders have renewed (circa 2k).

Due to the unknown of how many people can actually attend a game at present, and the furore generated by R&R, the people who turned up every week but didnt have a season ticket have had their arms twisted to also purchase one. our average attendance is easily in the 4k mark over the last few seasons even with the dire football.

i would say R&R will have added at least another 25% onto the gates for this season, so 5k is more than possible.

plus, i did start my message off with the word 'allegedly' and explained the reason why.

I think you’re being very unrealistic and also misreading the financial situation of many people due to the effects the pandemic has had. I know for a fact that that’s had an effect on our own ticket sales so I can’t see why that wouldn’t be the case for the majority of other clubs at this level…

Like I said, realistically it’s 3500 tops which is still very good btw… and if you get anything just over that it will be extremely impressive. So let’s see

No reason they can't sell 5k plus depending on capacity. Think you are underestimating the takeover effect.

We are approaching 3k sold ( takeover having a massive impact) which was around our average gates last time we were down here and only sold 3k season tickets when we got back into lge 2. 3k is impressive for us, so don't see covid and financial situations having an effect, no reason it's going to effect Wrexham either especially after a marquee signing like Mullin, something we haven't done.

Thanks for that.

All it took was a random Chesterfield fan conclusively clearing up all the confusion on what Wrexham’s season ticket numbers will be. Least it’s all sorted now, AT LAST.

We’ve also not been to a match at home for 18 months. People are desperate to watch matches again and would pay through the nose to do so I imagine.

You think a couple of marquee signings at a national league club is enough to attract 3000-5000 new season ticket holders??? And I’m the one being unrealistic?

Yeah of course, but you’re talking about us ‘hardcore’ supporters that are there no matter what, who live and breathe it… these 3000-5000 excess fans won’t be thinking like that otherwise they’d be part of that core of supporters too. Football ain’t the be all and end all to some people believe it or not.. (I know, crazy thought right?)

Your pay on the gate fans will 100% increase, and probably dramatically too especially if you start doing well.

Try rereading and not jump on one line, moron
Christ someone’s touchy aren’t they…

I’ve re read it… and I’m still searching for what you’re trying to point out? You mentioned you’ve still sold 3k ST’s during a pandemic… well done… but I did actually say that Wrexham will probably sell a similar amount if not more so what are you getting at?

Stockport County.
The Grimsby lads on here are proper high blood pressure cases. A massive, massive worry going into the new season. They're ticking time bombs by the look of things.

I said it was the takeover effect, using us as an example as we have also been taken over and about to sell more season tickets than we have ever done despite being relegated.

The marquee signing part was a throwaway I thought about at the end. I think it's perfectly possibly Wrexham will sell 5k on the takeover effect and expected promotion push alone, nevermind the other stuff including as MasterD points out that no one has watched football at the ground for 18 months

We sold 2700 in 2019/20 off the back of a couple of rubbish seasons and with Bryan Hughes assembling of squad of players nobody rated!

This is not a 'Look at how big we are statement' but the buzz around the club is ridiculous and hard to comprehend of your not involved, a lot of people who came every week are genuinely worried that they won't be able to get tickets so are diving in to season tickets.

I'd wager that we will very comfortably top 5,000, if we are going well this season (and when R/R are in attendance) I think we will fill the ground regularly (10,500).

Well all this talk of Wrexham as Wales answer to Lincoln City bandwagoning, the real success story is Hartlepool United's sales.

We've gone and outdone ourselves by managing to sell LESS season tickets than we did as a mid table conference outfit in 19/20.

Ah good point, I’ll stick around then… much to the chief’s pleasure :woo:
Tbf he should start charging you rent for the space you occupy inside his head. Never seen before one man consistently try and online bully the same guy so much and get absolutely nowhere, it's fucking priceless

The Wrexham fan who posts regularly on our forum (your guess is as good as mine, he’s a strange, strange feller) says that they’ve sold over 6,000 season tickets.

He's on ignore. Rarely see anything he says tbf.

Glad I'm providing entertainment to the good people of Chesterfield though by calling one of their fans a prat.

We've got plenty of freaks following us. The one on your forum is definitely a bit odd.

Is that the Boycie guy? he only ever seems to post on your forum (unless he uses a different name on RP). He seems deranged.

Someone claimed to have counted the sold tickets on the stadium map a little while ago and it was 4.8k. Take that with a pinch of salt.

I still reckon we will end on around 5k. Which would be twice last years total, so pretty good going.

So why do you feel the need to post something like that about someone you reckon to have blocked. What's the point? Most of your posts seem to be jibes about or to one person or another. Try cheering up a bit fella
