It's an interesting one. Salford have to grow a fan Base from historically not a lot. The low prices and Co92 fan girls will give them decent crowds for now. But if they're not paying much to watch, then they will have to be heavily subsidised. The real tests will come later on. If they can maintain increased crowds when the prices go up to market rate. Teams like Crawley and Fleetwood have had success moving through the leagues but neither has managed to bring in big average crowds along the way. Maybe it won't matter and the owners will happily subsidise for years to come. But it's a very risky game.
The stated aim is Premier League and a 25000 seat stadium full to the brim. Where are those fans supposed to come from in an already saturated market? This is the problem isn't it? There are already too many clubs chasing too few fans. Salford can only be a success at the cost of the clubs around them, clubs which have already built up their fan base the hard way, over the decades. If the FA gave a shit about the game, rather than just half a dozen Premier League clubs they'd be putting a stop to this nonsense NOW!

We (Wrexham) have sold 1,700 so far. Our early bird finishes on Friday and I'm hoping we get to our target of 2,100 by then.

I'm shocked at some of the season ticket prices at this level but I suppose i'm used to ours being low as we need to be competitive.

Our earlybird offer has expired:

Adults Terrace was £199; Junior £90 (10-16); Under 10 £10
Adults Side seat £299; Junior £149; Under 10 £20
Adults Seat Behind goal £249; Junior £100; Under 10 £20

Normal prices

Adults Terrace was £355; Junior £100 (10-16); Under 10 £10
Adults Side seat £370; Junior £160; Under 10 £20
Adults Seat Behind goal £249; Junior £130; Under 10 £20

Ours sales are currently up by 20% but I think that'll drop over the next month or so and end up with a slight increase.

We've been around the 1k-1.3k mark down here, so we'll be in the range again.

A paying away adult coming to Dagenham next season save your pennies, £21 a ticket to share a stand with us.

Over 1.2k, so we'll probably be closer to 1.3k.

Last time I was at Dagenham, that stand was being built (or it was about to start). We were at the side of the pitch, in line with the 18 yard box.

Is the away end still the seated stand behind one of the goals?

Yep it's has been away fans only since it was built with home fans moaning but now we have it and have sold season tickets in it, it will be soft segregation unless someone brings more than 600. When that happens home fans will be moved to the side stand.

Season ticket holders having to move, that should go down well!
