Back in Yorkshire again :bl:

Two decent footballing sides, should be far more competitive than when we last played at Hillsborough, Wednesday fans will be more of a matchup than last time out at Ashton Gate.

O'Donnell
Little, Flint, Magners, Bryan;
O'Neil, Pack;
Paterson, Tomlin, O'Dowda;
Abraham.
That's our strongest side excluding Reid who I'd rest for Saturday as he'll have more of an impact at home against Derby rather than away at Wednesday.

Should see a lot of the ball again, as we did last season and will be a man over in the middle assuming Wednesday stick with the 4-4-2.

1-1

Forestieri, Abraham. 382 away fans.

Pack will be more solid away from home and if we need to mix it up and bring Reid on I'd bring him on for Tomlin

Very positive JJH, I like it. Perform like we did Saturday minus a Flint off day and I fancy us to get something. Agree with that team too .

Another draw 1-1, two evenly matched teams.

Paterson or O'Dowda or Pack in for Freeman please. I cannot see any argument to continually start the latter. Paterson and O'Dowda bring a more direct goal threat and Pack would stiffen up the middle.

Evenly matched? Fuck off.

If we don't win we should forget about the top six as we need to be sweeping teams like this aside.

That's not a sneer but more a statement of fact, our squad across the board is stronger, the fact the op suggests we are a 4-4-2 side is incorrect.

Hoping we play Tomlin left wing so he can give Palmer the run around again.

He actually played well at the weekend, I was shocked as well.

Be an interesting battle but I'm confident we have more than enough as we should have, Tammy Abraham looks a player and we need to be keeping him quiet.

Expect us to line up like this :

Westwood
Palmer
Lees
Hutchinson
Pudil
Jones
Bannan
Lee
Reach
Forestieri
Fletcher

4-1-3-1-1

Sub's
Hooper
Wallace
Buckley
Loovens
Wildsmith
Nuhiu
Hunt

2-1 Wednesday.

That's basically a 4-4-2, just as our 4-2-3-1 could also be categorised as a 4-5-1. Forestieri is basically a second striker.

You should beat us, you have a better side, but football doesn't work like that; see the game at our place last season, in which we were in a much worse position than we are now, IMO. You've hardly set a blistering pace at the start of this season either, I'm surprisingly quite confident but we'll find out whether I was right to be or not.

Does a second striker play left or right wing cos that's where Forestieri has been and continues to do so it is not a 4-4-2 unless you see more of my team than me.

We also start sluggishly, takes us a month or two to click, only 4 points from second actually a better start than last season in terms of points.

I imagine our points per game ratio in the last 9 months since Johnson was appointed is fairly similar.

Otherwise, I agree, it wasn't much of an even match on 9th April.

FTR, I think Wednesday are a much better side than us and will finish top six, but just as an observation since Johnson's joined...

We've gained 37 points in 23 games, Wednesday have gained 32 points in 23 games.

You played very well that day, no one is disputing that but you weren't the first lower end side that had beat us away, Charlton and MK did the same, perhaps we underestimated you.

More points over half a season of games.
More points this season.
More goals scored this season.
Less goals conceded this season.
Smashed you last time out.

I agree with JJH, despite the above you are probably a shade better than us but no where near levels of 'evenly matched?Fuck off' kind of weird posts.

Astounding arrogance! Sometimes I read your more intelligent, well-reasoned posts and think..." that Walkley knows his stuff" ....But you always manage to revert back to the prick I know you to be. Fair play son!

Genuine point looking at the two squads would I take any of your players in our squad?

Tomlin - possibly
Reid - yes
Bryan - yes
Flint - maybe
Abraham - yes.

That's it.

Son? Bless you old man, nice personal insults too. I'm not being arrogant I just find your over confidence quite comical. If you were playing Rotherham at home would you expect to win? I expect to beat you if we don't then it is football.

Flint wouldn't get into your side ahead of Lees, Magnusson would get into it though. Undoubtedly. He's a much better defender than Lees IMO, obviously you haven't seen him yet though so I'll let you off.

Not arrogant? Who are you kidding? I certainly don't look at ANY side that is playing at this level, and THIS early in a season and believe even Newcastle ( a far better squad than your own world-beaters) would assume such unfounded fucking nonsense. As for over-confidence....Can.t see how suggesting that a possible point is anything even approaching that!!

I've not seen Magnusson but I'm not sure he's better than Lees, I'll admit he has great pedigree due to his stint at Juventus mind.

Nah, he's not, but he'd play alongside him.

Depends, cos I rate Sam Hutchinson as a better defender than Lees, he is a more natural ball playing centre back.

Magnusson's the same, he's a big, modern defender with a fantastic passing range. Pretty good find and I'd say he's just as important to us as Flint. A good replacement for Baker.

Hopefully a few more people are underestimating us this season.
Could be the difference between top 10 and top 6.

Can see us nicking a point here. The team seem to be playing with so much confidence at the moment, a massive inprovement to last year.. Just need to turn up in the first half as well as the second.

I would have took a point but after you've just compared us to fucking Rotherham, FUCKING ROTHERHAM, I want all three. That was just mean and uncalled for.

Think getting a point here would be good for us, keeps the run of taking a point on the road, Wednesday won't be where they are for long, while that may mean we 'need' to take advantage of their current form, they will more than likely pick up meaning others won't be getting anything. Point and another good display would be enough for me, if we were to then get 3 points then great.

After a much improved performance on Saturday against Wigan I'm quite confident we can win this, but Bristol City are a better side than last season and have made some good signings over the summer. Don't think it's two evenly matched teams though I think we're a stronger side, and if we're serious about going for promotion it's a game we should be winning. Expect maybe a change or two from Saturday, Reach for Wallace, wouldn't mind seeing Buckley given a chance he's looked good when coming off the bench.

Westwood

Palmer
Lees
Hutchinson
Pudil

Reach
Lee
Bannan
Buckley

Forestieri
Fletcher

Sheffield Wednesday 1-0 Bristol City
