We've gone 4-3-3 and have no width whatsoever. Anderson and Rowe out, Williams and Wharton in. Wharton at CB to allow Bostwick to remain in midfield.

Bostwick, Woodyard and Freck in CM, on paper, is very good.

Interesting to see whether this works because we don't usually go away from 4-4-2 for a reason...

Corr blimey, bold, bold, bold call, especially away at one of the best sides in the league. You can't say DC/NC don't try and change things. Can't be many better centre mids in the league on paper but let's see if it works on the pitch.

Basically if we want full capacity, we are not allowed to sell tickets on the day. It's a stupid decision considering anybody who fancies it on the day will be refused a ticket now, mental.

Regarding the game tonight, never been so unsure what to expect due to the managerial change, I mean should he keep the same 11 that have been playing very well recently but underperformed in the draw against 10-man Coventry or change it up a bit? It's pure guesswork how the players react to the recent events.

Lincoln are a half-decent side, we are definitely better but in football it's on the day that it matters. 3-1 either way would not surprise me.
We've had games this season that are all-ticket, as most are now, but sold right up to KO if they don't sell out. It just makes sure that people purchase a ticket before getting to the turnstiles to accurately see when no more can get in.

Aye, some ball of steel from Cowley but a gamble he probably felt as though he needed to take after the last two performances and results.

Mansfield win 4-3 in the ex-Imps vs ex-Stags stakes, although I might be pushing it a bit including Flitcroft and Futcher!

Not many Stags in attendance. Single figures in the Quarry Lane End!

Yeah I'm up for it Fish. It's clear to me the fans in the second pic are troublemakers/hard ones/what the foreigners call 'English hooligans'. What do I win?

We have been pretty poor all game to be fair.

Vanni, nobody is ever in the QLE during the game so it would of had a better effect ;)

Was in the process of typing ghthis is:

Think this is a year too early for us to go for promotion. We've done well considering but the Cowleys have failed to recruit effectively, especially in the forward positions. We have loads of wingers but have had the same three forwards (Green, Rhead and Palmer) all season and theyre just not clinical enough. We've had the best of the chances tonight according to stats and commentary but haven't got the ball in the net.

And then Ollie bloody Palmer scores.

lol

I'm reading a bottle was thrown at the LCFC players when they were celebrating nd Waterfall was sent off for throwing it back into the crowd.

Ollie Palmer can't stop scoring at Field Mill. Good point, take that.

Stops the mini rot. Important we took something from tonight.

Could've done without Waterfall getting sent off, mind. That leaves us with 1 CB for Saturday. Was it a second yellow or straight red?

Bozzy must be close to 10 yellows, Jamie McCombe may get a run out soon :bl:

Tbf, you don't have Ollie Palmer in your squad if you're getting promoted.

Don't get me wrong, he's not completely hopeless and they'll be far, far worse strikers at this level but he's an average, all round, kinda striker. A squad player at best.

Just seen a video of the Waterfall incident, looks like a bottle was thrown from the stands and Waterfall chucks it high into the stand. The way he threw it wasn't intending to hit anybody but you can't be doing that.

Annoying how it came about, but there can't be a person at the ground who could say Lincoln didn't deserve that, better side on the night, totally deserved the point

If you had decent forwards you'd have buried us.

Been our problem all season, cost us at least 10 points this season.
We've drawn way too many but a good season upon our return.

Deserved late goal for Lincoln, although I didn't expect it come because they are toothless upfront.

If we won I probably would think this word is too harsh to use, but that was a shit performance by Mansfield. Big players, Rose, King, CJ, Logan were not at the races at all. Thankfully Lincoln seriously lack in quality, hence we nearly won the game but still managed to get a point. I have not looked at anything back yet but it looked like King should of been sent off in the first half for a reckless challenge, also the ridiculous decision to give Lincoln a free-kick from a dive by MacDonald looked like a appalling decision.

Both sending off at the end looked correct to me, it's obviously annoying having something chucked at you but chucking it back by a player is mad, he seemed to refused to leave the pitch after too. He might be in big trouble.

Last two performances against Coventry and Lincoln have been poor, but it's 4 points off both this season which is alright I suppose.

properly #modernfootball-ed myself watching on VPN, idly scrolling my phone certain we'd lose, flashscores comes up with the equaliser and I wait 2 minutes to actually see the goal, the moment of joy lost.

Logan should have done a lot better with it, but we definitely deserved at least a point, new 4-3-3 system working well.

Waterfall sending off might end up with a long ban, leaving Bostwick to go back to the back 4, ruining his screening role he played so well this evening in the 3 man midfield.

If we don't fancy that? Well, step forward 105 year old Jamie McCombe :bg:
