Our first of two games Vs Scunny in 10 days and one of the first time's I wont have been to Scunny, not that it's really been a good place for the Blades. Scunny seem to be the definition of a bogey team for us.

Was going to say this could be the day we drop out of the POs but somehow our GD is better (+7 Vs -1 to +1) than the three teams that could match us on points this weekend. That may well be the only thing keeping Clough in a job as I think he may go once we drop out of them...over to you Walsall.

Not confident at all, not only are Scunny a bogey, not only are we on an awful run and playing dire but also our defence (which Clough seemed to have stock piled players for) is shot and our keeper an absolute liability. Both the first choice goalkeeper and center-backs are out along with their back-ups. McEveley, Kennedy and Collins will miss out through injury whilst Chris Basham is suspended. Leaving us without a recognized CB unless we recall McGahey from Tranmere which I think their fans would love as he's apparently been awful for them!

Sky sports are predicting a defense of Freeman Brayford Alcock Harris infront of Turner. A truly frightening prospect with the very out-of-form Harris the only left-footer.

Obviously ir goes without saying we'll probably now play awful and nick this 1-0.

How has Van Veen been for you Scunny? We were linked with him also in January.

Van Veen is an odd one. Seems to look absolutely amazing one moment and then horrible the next.

He is really struggling as a lone striker, he needs Madden up top alongside him but Robins is so against playing 4-4-2 for some reason. I think Sheff United will do us over here, we look absolutely horrible currently.

Trust me pal theres no way were gna win this with our defence and goalkeeper. Id go as far to say an easy home win for scunny. cue serious abuse towards the players and maybe the 1st time towards the manager from the away section. 9am set off for us so should be in the boozer for 10am which gives me plenty of time to drink enough to be able to cope with the shite that i will have to watch im sensing an early exit to the boozer though when we go 2 nil down.

Seriously think we're gonna get embarrassed tomorrow, we look nothing short of pathetic at the moment and I can't see that changing tomorrow.

Defence isn't as bad as it couldve been. Will be interesting to see how Brayford does at cb.

Turner
Freeman Brayford McEveley Harris
Coutts Reed Doyle Murphy
Davies Done

That team should still be winning but the defence/goalkeeper still worries me. As does Coutts wide right as he offers nothing there which'll make it easy for Scunny to just nullify our attack by double marking Murphy who s the only threat we have from midfield.

Big chance missed to win today, Madden missed two glorious opportunities in the 2nd half to win it.

No idea why we had a totally fine goal dissalowed after Turner spilt the ball into his own net, nobody even complained about it.

This was supposedly a foul on the goalkeeper, there is nobody near him. Absolutely shocking decision.

He's shocking. Worse than Simmo and that's saying something.

Sheff U not getting top 6 would be quite something. A colossal failure on Clough's part.

That's not Iain bloody Turner is it?

He was abysmal for us in this league but surprisingly ok in the one above, although he was replacing Andy Lonergan so anyone would have been an improvement.
