Hopefully another week with his new players will have given Cooper more of an understanding on how we need to be setting up. Think it's only a matter of time before we get it right but Colchester will be no push overs.

For me:

Vigouroux

Barry
Branco
Turnbull
Ormonde-Ottewill

Kasim
L.Thompson
Robert

Ojamaa
Thomas
Ajose

Belford, Williams, Brophy, Traore, Rodgers, J.Stewart, Obika.

Let Robert drift behind Thomas, allow Ajose/Ojamaa the licence to swap wings and we should be far more creative.

I fear with the likes of Ojamaa and Ajose now on board slowing the game down will completely nullify their strengths so we need to find a way of keeping possession as well as using the wide men effectively.

We actually look set up better to counter attack which completely goes against our playing style so Cooper has his work cut out to make us fluid while at the same time keeping hold of the ball.

Still a work in progress and I can see improvement this week while still being some way short of how we'll probably be performing by Christmas.

1-1.

We were absolutely woeful at home to Burton last week so surely can't be worse. Ajose was crap on both wings and needs to play more up top (if possible). Ojamaa, L.Thompson are not match fit. N. Thompson is injured.

I can't make it as my uncle and auntie are celebrating their Golden Wedding anniversary. Colchester are in good form, we are not

1-3

Incidentally, is this the first Swindon MDT for 3 games?

We always seem better suited to playing away from home on the counter than at home where we have to break teams down, so feeling quietly hopeful about this weekend. I would take a point, but think we are capable of all three. Depends on how Swindon turn up though.

Last season's games were both pretty open with plenty of chances either way so could be a few goals in this - we're bound to concede at least two but, on current form, we'd be good value to match that.

We're shit. Cooper needs his P45 if he can't get this hugely talented squad playing to its potential.

Give him October then haul his ass out the door and go get JFH from Burton - but would any self-respecting manager accept Power sticking his beak in team matters.

Things need shaking up and I doubt Cooper knows what to do

Hypothetical of course but if we could gradually get better this season than have everything go downhill after January it'd be a welcome change.

No chance you'll be able to counter attack us as we play it about at the back, pass it for 30 passes and then put it out for a throw/goal kick.

We show zero urgency at home.

This is why we need Robert in the midfield for me. He's able to mix it up and have a go at defenders, opening up space.

Traore, Rodgers and Kasim are similar players on the ball, often passing short to a team mate or one another. Need to pick one of them, combine it with the energy of Louis and the flair of Robert and we should look far better and actually be a threat from central midfield rather than sideways backwards for 90 mins.

Oh dear. First choice striker out injured and first choice keeper recalled. Any idea why Liverpool have taken Vigouroux back? Seems a bit strange.
All speculation at this stage. He was dropped for Saturday's game and Cooper was very vague when questioned about it after. Rumours range from Vigouroux being late for training a couple of times to him refusing to pay a disciplinary fine.

Town are in pretty bad shape at the moment. All of the optimism from the last few days of a reasonably successful transfer window has long since evaporated and turgid on-the-field performances coupled with a manager that still doesn't know his best team or formation is a major cause for concern.

Yeah, just read the same article. Got to admire the lads balls but on the other hand, it really doesn't reflect well on him and his future in the game if he's showing ill discipline so early in his career. Swindon have probably done right by getting rid of him, don't need disruptive divs like him in the squad.

What are you idiots talking about?

We've lost one in the last 18 and haven't peaked yet. Our post Christmas downturns of recent years were all due to Wilder and his multiple loan signings once the window opened. He's gone and we're now being run much more professionally from top to bottom. I'd look at your own form if I were you, doesn't appear to be going too well does it?

Looking forward to beating you West Country yokels again next week.

You've won 3 games out of 9 this season - hardly a ringing endorsement of your promotion credentials. You do also manage to have a fair number of games where your opponents get a player sent off.

Impossible to tell if your unlucky not to have more points or lucky not to have lost more.

You are correct that at the moment we are utter shite.

Unlucky not to have more points is the answer. We've had three penalties saved, out of four awarded. One of them didn't matter, as we won the game anyway, but the other two cost us three points. Add that to the players getting sent off against us, and you get a picture of how other teams try to stop us.

As I said earlier, we really haven't clicked yet, but you lot are in for a shock next week.

Don't overly care much. Rather have 3 points. Sure it'd be nice to beat you but in the scheme of things it doesn't really mean jack shit.
