There's always been just the two tribes, hasn't there? I'd have thought if there were three, LR would have increased the numbers for those taking part, as six people per team doesn't really seem like enough for a game of Survivor's length and difficulty.

Hm. I don't reckon those teams are legit, but if they are, it's similar to the GSM in the fact that the instant I saw that team I thought that we've got a heck of a shot of doing great. And yeah Lee, my first reaction upon seeing you in my team was the same as you, in that I don't think we've ever actually been on the same team for anything ever... so that's probably right.

So yeah. Hope those are the teams as I'd be delighted (even though I'd be with no former Aparri and only one former Jehovah in Harvs! ) but I'm thinking that they'll be a bit different...

Despite the amount of forum games I've played, Oaf's the only one in there I've teamed up with before. In Aparri and as a Jehovah. I like being in Oaf's team, as much like Spidey he puts a tonne of effort into these.

The closest I've been to LeeWilson's team was in The Mole, when we rightfully teamed up to take out Argyle_Dude.

Steady, well I could've been on his side in the recent NOTW, but he died too soon. He'll need some coaching, so that he doesn't make another 'Nike' error.

Whilst Dave and Stagat are fairly new to these big games? Dave loves a picture edit and Stagat usually drops out due to the time zone difference, but I guess he follows when he can, so he'll know what he's doing too. Guessing he's back in the UK also.

These won't be the teams now, but I share a colour with these guys in the intro video, so they'll always have the blue advantage going for them in this game.

LR: Welcome to China! Welcome to the 3rd series of TFF Survivor! For the next 39 days this will be your home, unless you are eliminated before then of course. The Precipitous Pillars you see before you were the inspiration for the Hallelujah Mountains in Avatar.

You can probably tell by the groups you have been arranged into what the first twist of the game is! That’s right, for the first time in TFF Survivor history not two….but THREE tribes are going to battle it out for supremacy!

Just to mention again – tribes were picked completely at random.

For those new to the game, let me explain a few things. Googling answers, sharing answers with other contestants, forming alliances for voting purposes – all that type of stuff is fine! This is Survivor, never go down without a fight!

The winner, besides of course eternal glory, gets a place in “LR’s Hall of Fame” and a guaranteed place on the tribes in the next season of Survivor.

I have now edited some extra details about the game into the opening post. I will mention two new aspects of the game below, but much of the rest you will already know if you have played Survivor before. If you are new to it then some of this info may go over your head, but as the game progresses everything will become clear.

Seven of you won the first hidden idol clue during the qualifying challenge which has now been PM’d to you. Anytime from now until the penultimate Tribal Council , all 18 of you can ask me one yes/no question about the idol which I will answer. Be warned though, if I feel I cannot answer your question clearly with yes or no I will reveal as much and you won’t get to ask another.

It may seem like a long way off, but all of you should aspire to make the final two! I want to talk about this now so you know what’s coming as it’s a little different to the finals of the 2 previous seasons (Thanks to Lee who came up with this concept).

This time the final will be a best of three challenges contest. The finalists will get to choose 3 eliminated contestants to team up with for the final! A further twist is though, that the eliminated contestants themselves might get to have a say on which finalist they team up with!

LR: Each tribe starts with 40 bags of rice for their camp. In Survivor, whilst living in the wild you must learn to ration your food. This rice will be your staple until the Tribal Merger when the individual challenges start. What will certainly help though, is winning more bags of rice. And you will have the chance to do that in the upcoming reward challenge!

This is the way the food rationing system will work:

In the lead up to each immunity challenge, anyone on your tribe should PM me with how many bags of rice you want to consume as a tribe. The tribe that eats the most bags of rice before any immunity challenge will gain an advantage for that challenge.

Any bags of rice you consume (bid) will be used up, even if you don’t win the advantage. You can start sending in your decision regarding this for the first immunity challenge now, and you can change your rice ‘bid’ as many times as you like until the details of the challenge are revealed. At this point I will also reveal exactly what advantage is on offer, and you will have a 30 minute window to change your bid one last time should you wish to. If no one on your tribe sends a bid in I will assume your bid is zero bags of rice.

If the highest bid is a tie, no one wins an advantage.

Your rice only has to last until the Tribal Merge. I will not reveal exactly when this will happen, you will have to speculate amongst yourselves. But once the individual challenges start, there will be no more rice bidding advantages to be won.

Didn't comment earlier as I wasn't sure if the teams were confirmed but now they are, very happy with my team. Tinpot reunion with SUTSS and Magic, Mike who is consistently excellent with these things, Blade who is clearly very creative and Don who is a dark horse.
