When you lose a life you don't change the card, you just carry on with it. The only way you'd change is to freeze (if you still have any of your three changes)

You must guess whether the next card is higher or lower. Ace being the highest, and 2 being the lowest. Each time you get it wrong, you lose a life. If you have further lives remaining, the card will be randomly replaced and you continue.
