Yes our new badge has recieved mainly fantastic reviews which is good. I must admit after being quite sceptical at first I am beginning to quite like it.

It is actually a very nice badge. I wasn't sure about it either at first.

Looks like Solihull Moors are throwing money at it in pre season. Taking some decent conference players from Kiddy last week and now hand picking Nuneaton's.
Meanwhile at County we are still waiting to find out who the new manager will be. Hopefully it will be announced this week along with a retained list.

I noticed that they manage to tak fromer Alfreton fans favourite Connor Franklin from Nuneaton. Another Shrewd signing I expect him to be very decent at this level

Congrats on your play-off victory, although I wont lie I was cheering for Ilkeston

Personally would be my 5th choice of the rumoured names. Erm no but it would be nice if he could stay fit this season and stop smashing shots straight at the keeper.

A belated well done to Curzon Ashton for rising to the Conference North. Five years ago when we started off in the Evo Stik North you were easily the best team we played. Great ground too!.

Solid player when he is fit, he has struggled with injuries this season though so it's no huge loss for us. Should do very well one step down.

Jarman was pretty average the season just gone but is capable of hitting 20 plus goals.

In other Conference North news North Ferriby have made the rather strange step of announcing they have completed their squad nearly 3 months before the start of the season. Despite the big budget cuts they have managed to keep all but 5 of last seasons squad.
If the rumours are true it looks like Neil Young is soon to become our new boss.

Neil Young would be a superb appointment IMO. He would certainly get you out of here and may fare better in the National at his second attempt with a bit more experience.

Nope, I think a handful have taken pay cuts, which may have helped.

Their Chairman may have chucked a couple of grand in, but he's just a normal bloke, not a Swann.

Fair enough, was a genuine question. Jarman normally just hops around the Conf North picking the biggest wage packet up he can.

Money run out at North Ferriby, Boston happy with their squad and players are realising the money at Harrogate isn't worth the hassle so being Gainborough's top earner seems a good option.
