Anyone heard anything about when the new series on BBC is going to happen? It's supposed to be this year.

No not yet. Dunno if its been shelved a bit with the Brexit fiasco.

Well, the long awaited return of Alan to our screens went out last night and I thought it was ok. Hardly a ringing endorsement from me. I thought there were a few really funny moments, but I just don't think we'll ever see Alan as funny as the IAP series'. I don't koww whether that's because Armando Ianucci and Peter Baynham aren't writing TT or whether IAP gave the writers more scope than a show which is in the confines of a TV studio. Maybe I need to try and stop making comparisons and accept that it will be funny, just not as funny.
