Might be fighting that lasher, Brian Rose.

Looks like this is happening in Manchester, July 6th.

Should be a comfortable win for him but will be a good day/ night, will definitely be going.

Train home will be a laugh...

Bit of a pointless fight in terms of fitzy's career progression but it'll create a good buzz and like he says it helps build his following.

Cheeseman in London will have to wait till September.

Couple of joke fights there btw.

First the twitching corpse of Pac getting a beat down by Thurman and then self-proclaimed 'fighting man' Fury up against some German doorman.

I don't really like AJ but I cannot believe Fury has the cheek to criticise anyone's opponents when he's fighting jokers himself. Fury has turned into an idiot again recently judging by his interviews.

Bob Arum trying to claim Fury vs Schwartz is a better fight than AJ Vs Ruiz, think dementia is kicking in.

Inoue's power is inhumane. I have him in the top 5 P4P in the world.

Joined an already dying football forum to post in a dead thread about boxing only, bizarre.

Fury vs Schwarz is about as exciting as a poke in the eye, this fella he's fighting quit against that guy who just ran away from Chisora for 10 rounds. Hopefully the Wilder rematch will be made next.

Joshua V Ruiz this weekend then. This is an interesting one you know. Ruiz only has one loss on his record and IMO he got knobbed out of a decision in Parkers back yard there. Then Joshua fought Parker and that was a close fight. Ruiz is faster than he looks and certainly has faster hands than Anthony Joshua. If he gets inside on AJ and starts flashes his hand speed (and he loves to throw combinations), I'm not sure what defences Joshua has in his arsenal to deal with that. AJ isn't great on his back foot and he's certainly not a clincher. I don't see this a 1/33 - 12/1 fight. 12/1 in boxing is a total mismatch and I don't see this fight that way. AJ should win but Ruiz is a tough fighting man who's never been put down with fast hands, will make a fight of it...

Joshua v Parker wasn't really that close, it just went the distance cos Parker refused to engage to avoid being stopped. I expect AJ to win this one pretty easily, probably a 6th or 7th round stoppage as he's a lot more patient now.

I remember watching the Ruiz v Parker fight and I thought it was very close at the time but it being in NZ it was all set up for Parker to become the champ because there was a lot of hype around him, have never seen it back though.

Joshua stops him in 3-4 rounds IMO, he's just too big for him and Ruiz has never been in with anyone who hits like AJ. He'll be looking to make a statement out there too.

The card is dog-shit though. The lesser spotted Callum Smith fighting a shot to bits middleweight in N'Dam is the next biggest fight.

I can't remember Joshua landing a meaningful shot all night. If I can't remember anyone landing anything meaningful either way, it must have been a close fight. Parker actually caught AJ with a few jabs if I recall but not a lot happened. If that was in New Zealand and Parker got the decision, no one could have said 'robbery! Aj should have won because x, y, z!' because in reality, it was pretty close

The good thing for AJ is that he has power in both hands, with all sorts of shots. He can knock you out with a right/left hook, uppercut or that big straight right. Also, Ruiz isn't looking to slip Mike Tyson/Povetkin style and come in with big booming hooks to get inside. BUT he also doesn't mind being on the back foot, because 9/10 times he can beat the guy to the punch. Ruiz will know he can't let this go the distance as in reality Wilder is the only boxer in the world who could ever win on the cards against Joshua (provided it was in America), and AJ like you say will also want to make a statement and won't want to spend all night being forced onto his back foot by this fat no-name. It all makes for fireworks if you ask me. Provided Ruiz doesn't get blasted out in 30 seconds, you're gonna see his hands go

I think you need to re-watch the fight if you think it was close. Like I said, just because it was boring doesn't mean it was an even contest. Are you seriously suggesting the cards (118-110, 118-110 and 119-109) would have been overturned had the fight taken place in New Zealand? And Parker landed just 15.5% of his jabs, compared to AJ's 34.4%. It was actually Joshua sticking behind his jab that made the fight so boring, but it was clearly an effective tactic.

And when you say Wilder is the only boxer in the world who could win on points against Joshua, surely you mean Fury?! Wilder doesn't do boxing.

Sure, why not. Boxing judging is kinda weird that every single round can be close and you can still lose every round on the card. You see some crazy decisions in boxing in fights that could have gone either way.

No I mean Wilder, in America. The Fury fight should show you that Wilder gets the judges there, Fury dominated Wilder and he gets a draw? But there's also no way Joshua loses a decision in the UK unless it is SO one sided that it couldn't possibly be given against him. The cash cows get protected. Look at Canelos Golovkin fights. Its probably a big reason why Wilder/Joshua hasn't got made yet, as neither want to fight in others back yard because of biased reffing.

What a shock, truly unbelievable stuff. I don't know a single boxing personality who called that before the fight.

Wilder might laugh at it but he just lost a huge payday. What he was getting at 40% would still be more than what he might get if he's commanding 60% in a possible fight now.

It feels a bit shit that it has ruined the whole top 3 but fair fucks to Ruiz, came in late notice and once he knew he could hurt Joshua he went punch-for-punch and came out on top. I really wanted to see unbeaten Fury v Joshua at Wembley in the biggest fight ever seen over here. Even if they do fight at some point, it will never be the same. This is what happens when fucking promoters and TV stations are arguing over a deal for so long, someone goes and loses and ruins it all.

Joshua's gas tank has always been poor but that took the piss, he was absolutely shattered Price style. Something was up with him as he didn't look right even walking into the ring, he looked very nervous.

Fury is undoubtedly no.1 in the division now, though many thought he was anyway. He wouldn't get stopped by Andy Ruiz that's for sure.

Glad its messed the top 3, maybe now they'll be less pissing around. Never rated Joshua but expected him to win last night, wilder will beat both of them.
