Pope is one massive gamble, but we were not alone in wanting to throw that dice..
Nards is 45 minutes mobile..but needs games
Hope needs a good pre season
Rose needs to get back what he had in his loan spell here

Leon is a player that can rip up trees.....but will he get the service across the box?

Why is Pope a gamble? guaranteed 15 goals a season man, seems to of gone off boil since his operation but still was our top scorer, less of a gamble than Clarke who seems a moody so and so who hasn,t fulfilled his ability. At least Pope gives 100% every game , sad loss for us and an indictment of way Vale are heading, no wonder bookies have us 23rd only above Crewe.

Has been a very good player for us, mostly in our promotion season but I'm glad we didn't succumb to his absurd demands. I believe we offered him around £2k a week (given that he was on around £4k and has told people he was offered 50% of that). Just seen that it's a 3 year deal which is a bit ridiculous.

Page has a massive job on his hands now though. Our strike force consists of a Conference player and a total unknown. Mint.

Good luck, Bury. Although this sounds like a recipe for disaster.
