They hated it when we beat Brighton, the 2nd leg Sky were so hoping they turned it around and there seems to be a crazy love in for Hull.

No they didn't the media are obsessed with how such a 'huge' club like Wednesday could be back in the Premier league. It's all I've heard and read all week.

I've had a nice bet on both teams to score @ 23/20. Winnings will go on a dog at Kinsley later.

Come on the Owlsssss

When I was growing up they were a solid Prem team and Hull were lower league shit. Their respective ticket sales almost confirm those stereotypes so its time for some proper big boys to return.

'Welcome to one of the biggest games in world football' whilst the camera pans to thousands of empty seats- cringe.

Why haven't Hull sold out their allocation?

Decent half of football, could definitely be a lot worse. Hull have the edge, but Wednesday are superb on the break. Kieran Westwood with some great saves, and Hull's goalie is looking solid too.

Because they've been to Wembley umpteen times in the last few years. It starts to lose it's attractiveness after the first visit, never mind the fifth

It's a one off occassion for Wednesday, so all the day trippers are out. It'll be back to normal for them next season being an average Championship side so their fans have to make the most of it

This is the Championship play off final. Wednesday would sell it out every year as would most teams in this league including my own but not including the likes of Huddersfield or Hull obviously.

Hull fans dont deserve promotion. Fucking parachute payments.

A League Cup final or semi final I could understand, but this is the play off final.

Have you seen how much tickets are. Hull is not the wealthiest of places and for many it could be a choice of a trip to Wembley with the family (£200+ all in) or being able to put food on the table next week. When you've already been numerous times in recent years then it makes the decision even easier

There's still a good 30,000 there, hardly shit support.

Edit: Aren't they also having issues over season tickets and their owners, perhaps a lot of fans are disillusioned with the club at the moment

Great goal that. Surprised Hull fans are actually celebrating it as apparently they don't care.

Sheffield Wednesday have been very poor. Probably not at the required level for the Premier League yet.

I'm a bit shocked that a side who haven't averaged higher than 16,000 for the last 36 years are trying to take the piss out of another clubs support

No success to build support but still manage 42,000 to a JPT final. Every right to criticise 25,000 for a much more important game.

Edit: Second, not first, visit.

What I find amazing is that they've only taken like 27k to one of the biggest games in the clubs history, but they'll average 25k at home next season..

It took Wednesday 93 minutes to start attacking Hull with any real intent. Shame, would have much preferred them to Hull.

Yawn, Hull. How boring. No doubt Norwich will go up again next year too.

Not much use having 40,000 fans there if your team plays like a bunch of muppets
