I know only a joke pal you seem a decent kid. Bit of banter it's our turn for once at last. Your years in front of us at the minute but football changes very quickly. I've been through it many times life moves on. All about England now in the euros
Yes it is, guess your going? Got a ticket for Wales match, but even a healthy win there, won't compensate for today.

Did you bother with it? What's the reasoning, is it your shit PO record? Before last season when PNE won it, it was only you and them that had a worse PO record than us, but personally I'm still well up for the play-offs, and I think we'd sell out 27,000 for the home leg, whatever we were allocated anywhere in the away leg and then still have full numbers at Wembley. Like I was saying in the box earlier, we've a lot of c*** that only turn out for the big occasion - more than most unfortunately.

I stayed in boozer for Yeovil home leg. Went to away leg. Swindon home leg I was in Barbados for cricket, went to away leg. I went to all the other home legs and away legs. Ipswich,Sunderland, forest and pne. Was a young en for 1st 2 though so doesn't count really

1k and 1.7k

Pretty poor then, what were we given? Think the PNE season was the one where we took loads to Crystal Palace in the last game of the season but barely sold half the away end, really odd.

Lots of people buy tickets for Hull City football matches = THOSE IDIOTS ACCEPTED THE FAUSTIAN BARGAIN OF ALLAM'S DESPOTIC REIGN LIKE MEEK LITTLE LAMBS, AND THUSLY THEY HAVE FORFEITED ANY RIGHT TO COMPLAIN ABOUT ANYTHING HE DOES, NO MATTER HOW OUTRAGEOUSLY STUPID, INFANTILE OR BELLIGERENT. FOREVER.

Not many people buy tickets for Hull City football matches = THIS LOT ARE #TINPOT. I HOPE THEY GO BUST AND ALL THEIR MISBEGOTTEN PROGENY GET ZIKA.

The implacable logic of the great and noble English (British?) soccer-watcher; patron saint of Authentic sporting fandom, proud and devoted acolyte of being mugged off in the name of expensively asseverated Saturday afternoons, and rabbinical keeper of the one true doctrine of the consecrated shrine of footballdom.

Truly a marvel.

Hull deserved it and a pretty decent goal to win it too..

Steve Bruce didn't sound like a man who was certain to be there next season though.

Doubts over the future of the club off the pitch?

It was so like watching the Burnley 1 Sheff Utd 0 play off final a few years ago.

Like United that day, Wednesday seemed to paralysed by the occasion. All their attacks were slow build ups in front of the Hull defence and the Hull keeper barely had anything to do.

If it's any consolation to Wednesday it least you can't blame bad luck, dodgy penalty etc. The best team on the day won so no one can complain really.

Regards previous comments, for Sheff United fans we have a terrible record in the playoffs finals and cup semi finals losing our last ELEVEN matches in total on the big stage. So with 11 defeats you can maybe understand a lack of enthusiasm if we reach Wembley, Millenium, Old Trafford or where ever. Also to be honest we have little enthusiasm and a sense of embarrassment competing against most clubs in league 1.

Some Blades think they are cursed and do the odd boycott whilst others (like me) believe the run MUST come to an end in our lifetime and want to be there to see the historical occasion when we actually win.

Wednesday had a 100% success record in the playoffs and now their run has come to an end. So maybe our 100% record of failure will also come to an end too.

It took us nine attempts to win our first ever play-off game (against Leeds in 2009) and since then we've only lost 1 in our last 8, so things can definitely turn around mate.

Yeah this. I don't know if Wednesday fans have a big chip on their shoulder but it does seem that they have taken to a superiority complex due to their fansbase à la Leeds. If you only want the true Hull fans to go (ST holders etc) then it's no wonder the allocation wasn't filled.

Well after having 24 hours to reflect I'd like to first congratulate Hull City on their victory and promotion to the Premier League, they were the better side on the day and deserved the win. Disappointed in how we didn't create anything yesterday it's a real shame because it is two very evenly matched sides. We needed to pump more balls into the box and test their keeper who was definitely their weak link.

We will regroup and go again next season I have no doubt about that, we will strengthen over the summer and I can't see us losing any of our best players unless it's for ridiculous money. Everyone's saying the league will be tougher next season but we have got rid of Burnley and Hull who both had parachute payments, and as for the teams coming down Villa are a shambles and there's no guarantee Newcastle will do well. Add in the fact Burton and possibly Barnsley coming up. Hull's support was piss poor but that's to be expected they aren't a big club and until the turn of the 2000's were averaging 4,000. Our support exceptional and a credit to the club.

This is no consolation of course but I'm sort of glad Wednesday didn't go up purely because it's a club I'm fond of and I'm looking forward to seeing Villa battling them in this division.
