Good to see Stewards are so consistent as usual. Boring race apart from last 5 laps and post race.

Unfortunately going to take Hamilton winning last 2 and something happening to Rosberg to change the outcome but at least its still going.

A Brazilian rain dance, Hamilton's best chance. Still a chance, he just needs to keep winning and wait for the problem to come.

I dunno.... European F3 is a decent standard. Raikkonen came from a lower level when he joined so I don't see why he wouldn't be competitive. But yeah, he's got dosh too.

Mental Brazil GP. Terrifying crash for Kimi there. So lucky Seb Vetttel didnt hit him.

Red flag.

I love Verstappen

He'll kill someone one day, but I still love him

Well we have had the rain dance, and Hamilton did what he needed to do, but so did Rosberg.

Some drive by Verstappen though, can't stand the kid, but he has some talent.

What a grand prix.

Had everything. Not sure what I enjoyed more, Verstappen just going round the outside of everyone or that guard of honour for Massa.

It pisses me off how F1 is so over regulated now as if there is a slight drizzle they have to start behind the safety car or even stop the race all because one driver is not up to the challenge of driving in the wet, bunch of pussies, Senna must be turning in his grave.

Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen are true racers, not like the rest who are all from pissy pants city.

The great sport of Formula One has had it's reputation ruined by pussies who take the whole point of racing out of it, yet they still pay the teams and drivers shit loads of money just for driving round a track without having to even race but just follow the car in front of them.

I agree 100%. It's been wetter in previous years - off the top of my head, Fuji 76, Monaco 84, Montreal 89, Barcelona 91, Donnington 93, Suzuka 94, Monaco 96, Barcelona 96, Spa 98, Silverstone 98.... It wasn't easier then, it's just the drivers aren't as good as they used to be. It's why I consider Moto GP to be the peak of Motorsport these days. Far more bravery and heroism.

Drivers nowadays are weak and looked after too well and have had it too easy. How F1 remains popular is a joke.

F1 is still a good sport, you just have to accept it's not the same as it was.

No I disagree, I'd say in the last two seasons there have only been 3 decent races.

One less race after 2018 or will Bernie find a replacement?

http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/formula1/38061412
I understand countries like Abu Dabi and Qatar taking on F1 to increase their profile. Also, the established places (UK, Italy etc) where they're are a massive F1 fan contingent makes sense. But how much money is there in it for the new holder of a race?

Ashame as I quite like Sepang.

That said, has become something of a procession in recent years if memory serves. Don't like that they moved it back in the calendar either.

So as expected Rosberg gets a podium and wins the championship. Got to feel for Hamilton, after all the fuck ups with his car this year and the bad luck, to finish within single figures of Rosberg is a good achievement.

The Malaysia blowout really cost him in the end. Everyone knows including Rosberg himself who the better driver is but he has got very lucky this year.

Glad it turned out like that I think. Wanted Hamilton to win of course but its not just engine failures thst have cost him,he has made a few bad starts too.

Mercs too dominant even with Lewis driving as slow as possible the red bulls and Ferrari couldn't overtake. still a shit track to end the season on.

Lets just hope the red bulls don't dominate next season and we actually have a proper fight for the championship.

Loved Hamilton backing him up like that towards the end, what a bastard.

Rosberg winning the title sort of feels like Stuart Taylor picking up a winners medal at Manchester City.

This. Really needs a track that's good for overtaking to end the season on.

Yeah, me too. Don't know what the people moaning about it expected him to do. Respect him a lot more for going a bit mercenary than I would if he'd followed orders.

He wants to win, exactly. What was he meant to do. It wasn't a Schumacher style shove off the track or what have you, he was trying to bring other cars into it. Nothing malicious

I loved Hamilton backing them up. Why not? Construstors is already sorted, Ferrari couldnt over take Red Bull so there is no real harm in what he was doing. If it was bothering Rosberg that much then he should have done more to over take him.

I can see Hamilton going all out next year, to really let everyone know who the man is.

Shame for Button to go out with a whimper. I feel for him, he was at McLaren the whole time they have been shit, and now that they might be good next year he has to semi retire.

Having won the world championship on Sunday past, Nico Rosberg has just announced that he is retiring from F1.

Well there's a stunning decision. Hopefully Mercedes get someone in who can challenge Hamilton or there won't be a championship battle next year.
