Jak Alnwick. We wasted a lot of his development years (pretty much no loans up to his 22nd birthday), unfaily chucked him in at the deep end where he was unable to perform, and released him this summer. Curently on a 5 month contract to cover for Port Vale's goalkeeper crisis.

Captain and first choice centre back Tommy Elphick now ruled out until January, having missed the last few games. Now needs an operation on his ankle.

It continues.

I know he's not your player currently Mark, but Ryan Fraser picked up a knee ligament injury on international duty, out for a couple of months. Personally I'm blaming it on Bournemouth's curse.

Bloody hell. That's a real shame for the lad because as I gather he's been doing very well for you and playing most weeks, which obviously is just what we hoped for him.

We're now only a couple players short of a pretty decent physio room 11!

Joe Gomez out for the season. Fuck you England and your drab, insipid brand of football.

Looks like he's done his cruciate. At 18 years old that could have huge consequences for his career.

Hate to see injuries like that to any player that's just getting his career started.

Tragic news that on Gomez, he was looking to become a stalwart of the side and one of the few defenders Liverpool have signed latterly that was on the path to working out. Hope it isn't as serious as feared.

Yeah, he's been great, our best player so far this season and one of the best attacking players in the Championship. Hopefully the injury won't set him back too much.

Ings out for rest of season too. Shouldn't be too bad for Liverpool given that he's fucking average.

What the fuck is going on with all of these injuries? English players in particular.

That's like a new signing for Liverpool. Good bit of news for the reds.

I'm telling you, with both Ings and Gomez, we'd have won the fucking league. We'll have to settle for 5th with a possible top 4 challenge now.

Ings came through the ranks here. So the Bournemouth curse still applies. Sorry, Liverpool fans, our bad.

Although you're on your own with Gomez.

What rotten luck for him and for Klopp - not even taking a game and already lost 2 players!

Bloody hell Ings as well! Origi better step up then. This is as bad as Arsenal usually are on the injury front. :ffs:

Two unfortunate injuries for sure - especially considering they will both be out for the season by all accounts. Sturridge must be shitting himself.

Rossiter injured his hamstring. Another one bites the dust at Liverpool. Maybe this Klopp curse is actually a thing?
