Not learned that much from this game, which is fine. But if Hodgson learns anything, its that Vardy is so much better down the middle. I know its a broken record, but still. Liked the diamond more than the 4-2-3-1/4-1-4-1 that we started. Alli, Sterling and Wilshere weren't great, would like to see some other options get a chance like Drinkwater and Barkley.
Turkey took this game way more seriously than us, full blooded challenges and chasing us down all game. Bit fortunate to win it, but I'll take it.
Well I think Vardys performance summed up what I've said prior, if Roy thinks he can play him as a winger he might as well not bother. Bring Rashford and play him there. Otherwise you'll get the Vardy from Pearsons time and not the Vardy of this season. Which aint bad, but it aint great.
