The fact that his comments on Logan are posted in this MCU thread pretty much gives that statement all of the validation it needs.

Nerd the fuck up Benito.

(This aside, how is Logan like Terminator 2? Like, at all? I mean it's got a dude with a metallic skeleton protecting a kid but... that's it, right?)

As soon as I saw X-Men First Class way down in 23rd place, I knew it was going to be a load of shit.

Dark Knight Rises ahead of The Dark Knight? Literally the only person in the world who I've ever seen say that. It's fine but a million miles behind the other two. Fucking pisses me off that the person who put that list together actually gets paid money to come out with that shit.

That article has to be clickbait.

 I figured it would get this reaction. Collin is one of the most respected reviewers in the country!

Just saw Spiderman Homecoming, it's really fucking good. Among the best of the MCU movies I think... and I'd probably put it as the best Spiderman movie so far as well. I felt that they did Spiderman good in the first trilogy, then I actually thought they got it much better in the Amazing Spiderman films... but this gets him fucking dead on. Mostly because he actually feels like a kid this time, finally. Really fucking entertaining though and, as is often the case with Marvel movies, cast fucking perfectly.

They've given Thor and Banner personality transplants just so Taika can have his lulz.

Usually when something leaks in full they wait a while and then just release it.

Yeah it does tend to speed things up. They know people will watch it, so they'd rather people were seeing it in good quality than from some shitty cam footage.

I'm guessing they'll wait for the Thor hype to run it's course and maybe then do it.

Might be reaching peak saturation point in November. Thor is released, and Inhumans, The Punisher, The Runaways and Agents of SHIELD will all be airing. The latter should end it's run the week Infinity War is released interestingly...

Just started the Defenders, one episode in and things are just being set up. I probably should have rewatched everything before diving into it but I'm hoping for good things

The release has been postponed due to what happened in Las Vegas. If they're waiting for a long enough lull in American mass shootings though it might never be released.

Saw Thor: Ragnarok last night. So so good. Just a bag of fun, all the characters are brilliant and funny. Storyline is simple and not weighted down by unnecessary side plots, flows pretty well. The humour in this though, wow is there so much packed in and it all works.

Standout for me has to be Korg. Stole every scene he was in, given some great lines.

Can also see why they didn't release an Infinity War trailer till now, would have given away several plot points. Hopefully Black Panther nails it and we can roll into Infinity War on a high.

This is a must watch though, probably in my top 5 MCU films.

Pretty much in line with everything I thought. One of the best yet, an absolute blast start to finish. Plus it had the balls to make some pretty big, impactful changes as well. I think that given time, it genuinely has a shot of becoming not just one of the best Marvel movies, but maybe the best.

Watched Guardians of the Galaxy 2 last night. Didn't enjoy it as much as the first. Rooker and Russell were excellent though.

I think Gunn got the balance perfect in the first movie, then as sometimes happens with sequels, he identified what people liked about it and turned those facets up to eleven. I enjoyed it but any scenes that were serious or had any emotional weight immediately being punctuated by a joke got a bit grating I felt. Could have been so much better if the humour had been more organic and less forced. Ragnarok had the same issue for me too. I hope they don't go this route in every movie from now on, though looking at the box office numbers you coudn't blame them if they did.
