The potential outcomes of either watching my club financially go to shit, or not watching at all whilst the world gets sorted out were never going to be easy.

It's amazing how many fans of bigger clubs than my own who have faced their own financial issues in the past seemed to want all clubs to carry on regardless of the consequences. For NLN it is obviously the right decision as decided by a democratic vote, the same for the NL. It's the NLS with their wide-boy chairmen and hobby clubs I feel slightly sorry for, as this isn't what they wanted.

I do feel sorry for you but look what a good position you could be in come next season. No debt, possibly crowds back in and plenty of time to build a team and prepare for when season starts.

I'm delighted we are carrying on. Bring on the hammering at Torquay on Saturday.

Feel sorry for the North and south clubs though. Must be awful knowing there is no football to watch in terms of their own teams for the next 6 months.

I'm quite happy for there to be no football until August, especially when the alternative was to continue but take on around £150k in debt (plus interest accruing over 10-15 years).

There will be some clubs in the National League regretting ever continuing come May.

What makes me nervous now is we never declared which way we voted and as such I'm not sure what our stance now is given we are carrying on. A statement would be nice from the club but I doubt its forthcoming.

Not up to him but I doubt Wild would be happy with a chairman that didn't want to finish the season. Given what he said in his big interview last week, that would be a deal breaker in discussions around extending his contract. Bosomworth will know that too.
