Ha true, we don’t actually have anyone local to play this season, you’re all down here playing the dog & partridge
I think we played them a few years ago in the FA Trophy and lost 1-0.

Mansfield trying to create a Tinpot rivalry with Chesterfield that will never ever eclipse the beef with Dover.

Well today is Pools v Bromley cannot understate how massive this game(s) are in the context of the clubs future direction.

Just so Pools we finish 4th and get drawn with our bogey team. I don't have a good feeling at all. I reckon Bromley will turn up and do a job on us. Hope I'm wrong like, come on peeps give me some good vibes.

Play like you did first half against us and it'll be easy!! Really though I think you've got this, you're a much better team than Bromley based on what I've seen this season.

Sure you mentioned this before but I’ve no idea what it is??
Surely there are bigger beefs out there? (Tranmere- after a Good Friday game was postponed late)

If a brother has to leave us behind I much rather it be Hartlepool than Notts or Stockport.

I’ve not been impressed with Bromley whenever I’ve seen them, whereas you guys are probably the best side we’ve come against this season. Up the Pools..

Bromley are hard working and efficient , defended well against us and took their chances but your lot were the best team I've seen us play against this season, gave us a tonking at your place.
Unless you play like you did at Sutton a few weeks back I think you'll have too much for them.

Hard luck Pool, still at least you made the play-offs. Bromley my tip to go up and I'm sticking with them, not because I want them to go up, I just think they're the strongest team left, mentally and physically. Like Harrogate were last year, who I also tipped to go up. Some of you may remember I also tipped Notts to come back and win in the second half, at half time yesterday. Just saying......... :ds:

Sir Danny Rowe. Seen hundreds of goals like that, literally.

Too easy for sir Danny this. He’s thinking look at these mugs, they’re not on my level

He hasn’t broken sweat ha ha

See he’s fooled you as well, he lulls the week minded into a false sense of security then bang. Goal. His football brain is beyond these lot. You can see that instantly

Sir Danny Rowe and I’ve got a draw full of them

Put Sir Danny in net. The lad can do it all. Win you the game at both ends of the pitch

BRINGING SIR DANNY ROWE OFF ARE YOU TAKING THE PISS!!! JAMES ROWE SHOULD BE DISMISSED RIGHT NOW

Mike Tyson would have done better there. Play off semi final and you take your best player off. If sir Danny has any sense about him, he’s in car currently driving home. Worst decision I’ve ever seen on a football pitch

The man of the match was nailed on until James Rowe made the biggest error of his managerial career. I’d be calling him into the office if I was the owner and saying “James, what the hell was you thinking taking our best player off for that donut”

The correct move would have been dropping sir Danny into centre midfield imo. He would have comfortably controlled the game as he was easily the best player on the pitch. He does that and Chesterfield progress
I think we get it, la.

It worked tactically. Without that change we’d have won it earlier IMO because we didn’t have to worry about the ball in behind at all and could just push higher and higher.

I dunno Jacob, we played a pretty high line all half, to be honest I would have been much more worried about Chessie winning a soft free kick in shooting range and Rowe spanking one in again than Tyson doing anything, as it proved! Although as soon as I saw the weather forecast I suspected Rowe wouldn’t last the full 90.

Anyway, enthralling game between two good clubs and brothers, certainly wouldn’t have been out of place as a playoff game in L2 or even L1, over to you Pools and Bromley!

Fairly un-magnanimous interview from Rowe, but can understand why he would be gutted.

I love what Rowe has done for us but one thing i have noticed is that he doesn't seem to enjoy giving out praise to the opposition, i can see why he could come across a little bitter at times.

Ultimately though, i guess he isn't paid to win the hearts of opposition fans.

You also predicted FC Halifax to go up after you beat Cambridge 1-0 in the first leg of your play off in 2014.

How did that prediction pan out?

It matters not who wins today, we'll still be playing a Tory team come next Sunday.

Can you prove that? I predicted us to get relegated and bounce straight backup in 2015, long before either event occurred, that panned out pretty good thanks, but i don't suppose you'll remember that, what with your selective memory and all..... :bdick:

Bromley looking very shaky down the right hand side at the back early on.

Are Bromley always this wild with their challenges? If they last the game with 11 on the pitch I will be amazed.

Well taken goal that, with him being barged in the back. Strong and composed.
