Torquay absolutely robbed blind, but it's piss poor to fail to take advantage when your opponent takes first and misses two in a row.

Congratulations Hartlepool.

Congratulations Hartlepool! In a way I'm glad they won that, I can't imagine how sickening it would have been to have lost that after an equaliser from a keeper.

Commiserations Torquay.

Would have hated to be involved in that as a fan. Heart attack stuff.

Well done Pools. Imagine what it must feel like to get out of this league.

Well done Hartlepool, commiserations Torquay. Play-off finals are great when you win them but total shit when you lose.

Commiserations to Torquay. It was a great watch (and certainly one of the better play off finals in recent memory) for the neutrals.

Imagine scoring a header as a keeper in injury time of a playoff final to take it to extra time and then coming off like an absolute massive bellend. Glad Pools won it purely because of the way the Torquay keeper conducted himself in the shootout.

But commiserations to Torquay fans, we've been there before losing that final on sudden death and it hurts.

Oh dear, turned a bit nasty. Don’t blame Pools fans for going on though given everything, sheer elation

Covolin deserved that in the end. Went far too early with the cocky celebrations.

What an incredible set of play-off games by the way. Congratulations Pools, well done all.
Yeah, wanted Pools after his antics.

It was so weird he was celebrating as if it was all over, when his team hadn't scored a single penalty yet.

Well done Pools. Fancied you to go up from pre season, thought you'd get there a little easier than you did.
Tough for Torquay, will take a bit of getting over I would think.

Think old Covolan was already planning his statue in the centre of Torquay. Bizarre how the first four pens were uniformly awful and then impeccable from then on it, even Buse’s was well struck by a fine save onto the bar

Torquay fans thought their keeper had done a Jimmy Glass by scoring - but in the end it was the Hartlepool keeper who did a Jimmy Glass by being an emergency loan keeper that ensured his temporary team was in EFL 2 next season....

Well done to Hartlepool eventually
shrinks the league geographically quite a bit.
Then a bit more next year when we are replaced by another London suburb team
