Stockport County.
Well done Hartlepool. Good luck next week I back you to go and win it.

We'll go again in the summer no doubt about that. I've said all season I didn't fancy us. We'll be stronger next season.

So the final is between 2 teams at opposite ends of the country!
Played in Torquay's corner, where their manager used to manage regularly.

Something fishy going on there and it's not because they're both based on the coast!

Featherstone was a class above out there and rightly man of the match. Odusina was very good but special mention to Brad James the keeper who has looked very shaky but much more confident today. I'd probably keep him in next week.

How calm Challinor was all game must've settled the players. Loads of guts and team spirit out there even though we didn't play as well as we can.

Hard lines Stockport but you'll be back next year. I'm not sure I can say the same about us. What an opportunity we now have.

This league looks rock hard next season. I don't want to be involved in it.

Congrats Poolies. Hope Torquay go up though. Will be best for our club coffers and Pools not a bad away day should fans be fully permitted by then.

Well done Hartlepool.

Commiserations to Stockport. Next season is going to be the most competitive I can remember.
Well, for some of us, maybe….
Well done ‘Pools, good luck in the final.

Well done the Poolies you deserved it . Look forward to a good game next week and see you in Bristol. Whoever loses will have problems as now Stockport , Chesterfield and Notts are already here .

Outstanding effort. These players and manager just get it. They know what it means and how important it is for the club. Now for the final hurdle. Not thinking too much about it yet. 3 litres down into a gallon bottle of Saudi homebrew beer. Just enjoy it for now like. That we have a team to be proud of since fuck knows when

I'll back these lads to the do the business. If we do this I'd enjoy this more than getting L2 promotions or L1 play offs. This is just far more high stakes. Come on Pools.

Personally I'm pissed as a fart stuffing Maccy D's down my gob but fuck me this team is something else!

I was pessimistic going into this but after today I feel like we can take on anyone, bring on Torquay in Bristol, can't wait!!

I thought we had a chance today like, they're a bit iffy at home and with the money they've spent, big favourites and I saw nothing in the two league games to worry me that much. I didn't think their crowd was a factor but that might be partly down to us. Managed the game very well.

Torquay will be tough especially in Bristol. Just Pools luck, two play off finals and neither has been at Wembley.

No disrespect to Torquay, but from what I have seen in the last 24 hours Pools will do it, no doubt. Keep Wright under control and you’ll be fine. Massive missed opportunity if you don’t.

That's what everybody says and yet somehow we finished second, guess maybe it's not that easy? ;)
I can pretty much guarantee we won't play like we did against you, that was a one off tactical plan for a one off game and Johnson will have something different up his sleeve for next week.

I make it a 50-50 game to be honest as most play-off games are. We're both decent sides, that's why we're in the final.

Definitely, I don't think I'm out of line to suggest that this could be the one chance you guys have of getting back for quite a few years with the calibre of the sides that are stacking up down here.

Of course exactly the same applies to us, can't see us replicating this next season.

You reckon you'll bag yourself a ticket?

What's the allocation, 3,000 odd each?

Already booked the train tickets so I bloody hope so :gr:. £45 return, I'm guessing it'll be a damn sight pricier from your kneck of the woods though.

I'm a season ticket holder so assuming the club gives us priority (which they always have in the past) then I'm fine as we don't sell anywhere near 3000 season tickets.

How about you?
