Born in the town..........The education i have just given you is free
So fuck - I knew he was born in Barrow because you've mentioned it at least 50 times this season. He probably couldn't care less about Barrow and I doubt many Barrow fans even care who he is.

I hope that Colchester get dragged into it and go down.

They've been a dead club ever since they moved into their souless lego ground so I doubt that they'll be missed.

It seems that us, Grimsby and Barrow fans all quietly fancy our/their chances at beating the drop. Our form since December has been that of a mid-table side - we had 5 points coming into that month. If we can continue that form I’d have us as okay. These recent results must be installing some good confidence to a team who has been consistently losing for the past 2/3 years
Should make for an enternatining relegation battle at least (for those not involved). I think at least one our of the three of you will go down but you may well drag one of the teams currently treading water in lower-mid table into the mix.

We're really relying on Grimsby and Barrow not getting their shit together here.

We are pretty much always terrible in March and have some horrible fixtures coming up. Just begging we've built enough of a gap between us.

There is a horrible feeling that this is happening in the exact same way as when we were relegated from L1. People telling me we were miles clear and never going to go down before Southend relegated us on the last day.

FFS Barrow, come on, after the romance of getting promoted back to the league after 50 years away, you keep giving goals away at the very end of games! Please stop it, let the others go down, please!

Barrow and Grimsby won't catch you. I'd be surprised if they get more than 35 points each

I'd like to think not but it all it takes is for them to string a few wins together and they're right on our tail.

if it wasn't for inept officiating in injury time we would have had 3 points today...

Every one of our players has improved since last week - not confident we'll stay up, but certainly encouraged.

We are very lucky we had the start we did - We've looked every bit like relegation fodder for the last 6 weeks.

Bit more worried after today. Game we shouldn’t lose but have contrived to but the main issue is injuries to key players mounting up again.

Worrall
Pope
Joyce
Amoo
Oyeleke
Possibly Montano

We’ve gone from scoring goals but haemorrhaging goals to looking absolutely rock solid but little goal threat.

Need to find that balance fast or we could get drawn in.

Latest tables after today, removed Stevenage and Mansfield, but Stevenage could still easily be in it, if teams below them win their games in hand. Figures in brackets are the difference from last table.

Colchester had a tough game today but on current form, between them and Barrow for second relegation spot now, though on paper they have the easiest next 4 games and rest of season.

Thought this was one of our games in hand on Tuesday but apparently not. No matter how well we're playing Harrogate have always been a bogey side. We've pretty much been in the same league as them for ages and can't ever remember beating them! Possibly in an FA Trophy game.

So you are saying that despite your OWN player coming out and saying it was no penalty, first glance you may in fact think Miller may be offside but watching it again on the replay he clearly comes from behind the player before the ball is played.........We have had some shocking referees this year but him yesterday was excellent.

Not because the decisions he made went our way.......because the decisions he made were CORRECT.
Think you will be ok. Your defence will get you the points you need and with Quigley you have a good outlet.

You realise you can't lose points with your games in hand right?
Oh yeah of course, but I can see us only picking up two or three points between now and the end of the season, it really is that bad. It's not even ability anymore, we played really well for most of today's game, its pure psychology.

You will only need two or three more points between now and the end of the season.
