Bit early for this old TFF staple? Apologies if so and if anybody else fancied doing this, but I've mocked up a 'real' league table in terms of points on board and targets as we used to see towards the business end of the season on TFF.

I'll hopefully be able to update this between each round of matches. Feel free to ask how certain targets etc have been calculated. Obviously the 'guaranteed' totals are a bit silly at this point in time, but they'll come down soon enough.

Well played Zeus, that's always a decent guide.

I wonder if our 103 point season record will be broken
I don't think so TBH Mark. We are on course for 100 but I don't think we'll make 3 figures.

We'd need to average just under 2.4 points per game for the rest of the season to get 104 so think the record is safe.

Which jammy buggers won the league on 84 points in 2013?? All of the top four will get more than that this season.

Not a chance. I reckon this years champions will finish somewhere in the mid 90s.

When you put it like that, I simply can't see us not getting at least another 14 points. I think it'd take some rotten luck with injuries (Tate, Ness, Ajose) or a complete collapse that would be enough to see Steve Davis sent packing in May.

Good work this Zeus, always loved this.

15 points off predicted safety, hopefully we can do this.

That Doncaster team was fucking gash as well, just a shame everyone else were worse.

Bournemouth were cack for half a season as well.

I remember watching Yeovil vs Swindon on SkySports in the 12/13 season and thinking that the standard was shocking for two teams in the top 6. There is no doubt that the standard has improved in the last two seasons.

Seemed to be a really weak league that year.
Let's be honest, it's not great this year if 3/4 teams can pull so far away mid-season.

I hope us at the top end aren't kidding ourselves as to our true ability

The amount of points that the 20th placed team is currently on course to achieve, ie Coventry on 32 pts, played 30, so 32+(32/30)x16 is roughly 49.

There is an incorrect +1 by their name.*

I think enough's still to happen that the safety points will be higher than that. Crap :(

Bristol City open up a 10-point gap, while the safety line still hangs tantalisingly above Doncaster! I’m sure they’ll be anxious to get over that total asap.
