Accrington could be relegated before we go to their place. Pompey and Bolton away for them before we play them.

MK are bang in this. Fleetwood away, Barnsley home and Burton away. Also to mention both Oxford and us have a game in hand over them.

Don't be surprised if Accy sneak a win against us today. They will be motivated at least. We are likely to be pretty apathetic both on and off the pitch. Good chance of a draw at least as that's all we're doing at the moment.

Since it is Sir Dion Dublin’s birthday I feel it would be only right for Plymouth to give him three points as a birthday present…

Morecambe get an early goal. They are not going down without a fight it seems
Morecambe’s whole existence is based around avoiding relegation regardless of which league they’re in. If they hold on today they’re back in it.

Fair fucks to Morecambe, hope they can pull it off. Mainly because I'd fancy us to finish above them next season more than Oxford/MK

Might still be one permutation but I’m safe in saying we will be a L1 club next season. Can’t say it’s official but it may as well be given the prestigious mid table trophy is no longer up for grabs.

All teams lose at the bottom except for Morecambe pulling off a win at inconsistent Charlton.

Oxford and Accy with 1 game in hand.

Cant call it.

We have the Staffordshire cup to play for. Who finishes highest. Winner gets an oatcake or a can of pedigree.

Felt a massive step to safety today. 500/1 with some bookies now and results went perfectly for us.

Needs us to lose both and Oxford, Cambridge and MK win all their games (and turn GD around of 9 in Cambridge case.

Being a Vale fan I won’t relax until we are mathematically certain which hopefully will come Tuesday but would like to think that 9 game Acca wouldn’t come in and at least one of the 9 games gives us a result we need!

Nah as far as we are concerned it’s done. Morecambe thrown a spanner in the works with their win at Charlton but ultimately I’m pretty confident in saying it’ll be them, Accy and MK after their loss today who will go down.

MK in a sticky place, hard to call though, Oxford haven’t won in 16 now? Got to dig it out to survive. Accrington will need a huge result in those two games against Oxford or Cambridge.

Despite two defeats we’ve played well against Wycombe and okay at Plymouth.

I fancy us to get a win next week at Accrington.

You will destroy us, we are pathetic.

My hopes are up on getting a result now we seem a) much more arsed about it and todays results.

That said if Oxford fail to beat Cheltenham I would like to see a couple of the youngsters get a go in these last two games.

We lost three big players to injury today as well.

We don’t destroy anyone. My expectation it will be a typical end of season game. Hopefully we give our academy lads a good go for the last two.

No true, wasn’t today the biggest home win of the season… I.e. we won by more than 1.

Should be a good test but hopefully one without the pressure and you never know sometimes get a decent game in those circumstances with both sides safe.

I'm looking forward to coming. New ground for me and a few beers around London Bridge before the game.

As others have said, we very rarely score more than 2 and both sides are likely to have little to play for. We've also got injuries to 3 of our best players, so it might be a bit of a makeshift side.

Would be nice to see Plant, our 17 year old, have a game.

I genuinely don't care what the score is. Love visiting London...it's just a great place in my opinion.

“Destroy us” may have been an exaggeration but you will definitely leave with something.

If Accrington or Morecambe go, you can see them never being at this level again and possibly dropping further down the pyramid. Incredible that they've lasted this long given the size of them both.

We won't get another point now, our best hope was to pick up something at Fleetwood and we were terrible.

If we survive it's because somehow 4 other teams have been even worse.
Don’t you bloody start, the Vale lot were trotting out that line about two weeks ago.

To be fair Sky have us 1000/1 for relegation but I am still going to be nervously tracking the Oxford score tomorrow.

Oddly Burton could be our insurance policy if they lose at Lincoln tomorrow, you'd then assume they'd lose at Argyle as they could go up at the weekend which would mean Burton lose all 4 if all 10 results go against us saving us!

not all of us were tbf
Enough were! It was insane and completely over the top. I get nerves but putting yourselves as certain for the drop when you’re six points clear is, as I said at the time, ridiculous.

To be fair I'm with Dippy Don. I can't see where they will get another point from.

I felt it before the weekend Fleetwood v MK was going to be the big one for them. You never know they could just as well pull something out of the bag against Barnsley but it’s a brave person who’d bet on that happening. Their final game is a tricky one away from home too.

I agree. If Oxford or ourselves can't win 2 of our remaining 3 games, we'll deserve our fate.

If MK can get a win at Burton (or against Barnsley :dk: ) or even two draws, then we'll need at least 7 points from the 3 to survive. But I think we're as likely to do that as MK to pass 44 points.

With a following wind, it's doable and we'll certainly be giving it a go.

The Predictor thinks we'll fall short:

PlayedWDLPointsTotal
Oxford32-1647
MK2-2-245
Cambridge3111444

My best guess (and basis for optimism) is:

PlayedWDLPoints
Oxford32-16
MK2-111
Cambridge3216
