No one else watching the final?

Andy's just gone a set up, which gives him a much greater chance of winning the match given his record against Nole when a set behind. French crowd being prats as usual, they love a boo.

The French crowd are just the worst. Murray playing well but how long until Djokovic goes into god mode.

Nole has rediscovered his forehand, which is bad news for Murray. Momentum with the Serb now.

Murray looking tired and a bit petulant. Djokovic just doesn't flinch does he?

You get your hopes up but it's always the same. Djokovic at his best is just better than Murray. He can beat him, but only if Novak's under par

You want to believe he can do it but it really is the same every time, Murray just can't hang with Djokovic when he goes up to his top level. I thought it'd be closer than this though as he had more chance here than on a hard court. Against everyone else he can afford bad games or drop a set or 2 because he knows the opponent will have some bad spells too in the match or bottle it if they get close to beating him, just doesn't happen against this machine.

Gotta feel for Andy 2/10 record in Grand Slam finals and he is one of the top 10 greatest players in the history of the game. Problem is he has to compete in the greatest era in the sports history.

People like Agassi, Rafter and I would even say Sampras weren't as strong as Murray yet will go down with many more Grand Slams. Feel sorry for Muzza!!!

A good comparison is Colin Montgomery. Easily the best European golfer for the bulk of a decade and never won a major due to the absolute monster of Tiger Woods in his prime.

Is it a Scottish thing haha?

Just too good I guess - even more so after losing a set.

Will Laura Robson ever find her form/fitness and return to the potentially decent player she threated to be before injury?

Is that her on her latest comeback now? She was out a hell of a long time; I see she's been beaten today at Nottingham.

I'd like to think so but I'm growing more and more doubtful with every tournament she plays. I'm not sure she has the personality or game to grind it out in the lower ranking events either. Ashame as she's an excellent hitter but her awful serve will need a lot of improving to get her anywhere near the top 100 again.

That's got to be her finished in the game now. She said she'll appeal but if it's held she may as well go into retirement. She has a load of other businesses anyway that she manages.

Great news, I've disliked the way she plays tennis for years. The way she deliberately goes out of her way to put opponents off with that ridiculous, over-the-top screeching (which gets louder whenever her opponent is on top, funny that) and the slowing down/breaking of rhythm between points with that comical tip-toe shuffle to the rear of the court. If she never plays again it will be too soon.

As for the ban itself, her excuse that she didn't knowingly break the rules doesn't cut it for me. It was her job to make sure any medication she regularly consumed remained off the banned list. She didn't and she now has to pay the price. I hope they don't back down on appeal but I wouldn't be at all surprised if they did. I can see the two years being reduced to six months.

Depends how long the silent ban is I suppose.
Nah. Sharapova is a media darling and massive for the game of tennis. I don't believe for a minute she would be publicly thrown to the wolves whilst Nadal allowed to serve a ban under the pretense of injury.

Doesn't look likely Federer will be able to get back into his groove before Wimbledon. A couple of unconvincing wins over Fritz and Mayer on his return. Fought back from 5-0 down in second set vs Thiem but went on to lose the tie-break and deciding set. (Think it was Thiem who beat him on his return in Rome before he withdrew from the French Open too)
