Yeah. And these lesser-sex beings earn the same money too. Outrageous Carel, outrageous.

Women's tennis these days has to be one of the most boring sports in existence. Just compare what you had yesterday to what is on display today, it's almost comical.
There are some quality matches in womens tennis they are just fewer and further between then mens. I had the pleasure of watching Cibulova v Radwanska in the 4th Round for example. One of the best matches of tennis I have ever seen! Unreal.

Did think Kerber would beat Venus - and she beat Serena at the Aussie Open so maybe an "upset" to come.

Federer has just missed 4 set points against Raonic, could be massive as his head has dropped as a result. If he ends up losing this 2nd set I can't see him repeating what we saw on Wednesday.

Federer takes the 2nd set on a tie break and picked up towards the end of it. He should take this in 4 now.

Another 5 set match for Federer.

Blew that game to hand Raonic the 4th.

 Another 5 setter for Federer...
Can't see him troubling Murray, even if he gets through here - especially with his dodgy knee!

As for today, fancy Murray in 3 against Berdych.

Another five setter for Federer. Even if he wins this now he'll be fucked for the final after playing ten sets in the previous 4 days. Will probably give Murray the edge, even if the Scot has the same happen to him. Nearly 6 years between them, that age gap when it comes to recovery speed is massive.

Despite that it will still be close. The shouty ugly one certainly won't have it all his own way.

He's 34, of course he's going to have fitness issues. I doubt Murray will even still be playing in five-and-a-half years, never mind at this level. It's only Federer's amazing touch and timing that allows him to still be playing at the top level, he doesn't rely on brute force and strength.

Even after back to back 5 setters it will still be a big task for Murray to beat him. He's still that good and Murray always struggles massively against him. If Fed's serve is on fire then I can only see a repeat of last year.

Hopefully. He's certainly got the record on Murray recently, the Scot hasn't had a sniff since the Australian Open in 2013, with Federer comfortably winning all 5 meetings since then. Perhaps I'm underrating Federer's ability to recover, but it will be difficult, and Murray is without doubt the fitter with the age gap.

Then again, there is no guarantee Federer will win this final set anyway. Raonic is playing some fantastic stuff.

Raonic wins this he'll take the title I reckon, no matter who wins the next semi. Played fantastic today, and Federer showing that 10 sets in two days is too much for a bloke pushing 35, no matter how good he is.

You're completely delusional.

Bad luck Fed, well played Raonic. Will need to find yet another gear to win the slam, though. Murray is a different animal to a seemingly half fit/half fucked Fed. Murray with 1 hand on the trophy.

Well i'm glad that Federer is out.

Anyway come on Andy!!! Hopefully he can make it into another final, but it's going to be a very tough game against Berdych.

Still Federer's to lose, Murray Federer final with the Swis taking it in 4 ... One final massive push to take that record on his own.

Federer is naturally very fit, and the way he glides around the court does help his longevity. I do think Messrs Murray and Djokovic will be playing at 34 though as Djokovic is more supple than a gymnast and Murray doesn't rely that much on hitting the ball as hard as he can, though he does run about like a nutter which may cost him in the end.

What, you don't think Raonic is capable? He clearly is, he's shown it today, so how am I delusional?

The stupid smileys do nothing for your argument by the way.

I'm not saying he can't or isn't capable, that's not what you said, you said you think he'll win, that's very different. I'm just highlighting that you've essentially said exactly the same thing about Raonic as you have ITT about Federer. If he plays like he did today against a tiring Fed, Murray is big favourite. Your lack of understanding ITT is quite astounding, that's pretty clear from the consistently flawed predictions you've made. I fear you may explode on Sunday when Murray takes it in 3 or 4...

Also, it's not an argument, it's just you regularly betting against logic & form. Bless. We're all entitled to opinions of course, I just can't work out whether or not you genuinely believe some of the crap you've posted in this thread or whether you're just trolling. *shrugs*

Murray won against Raonic at Queens from a set and 3/0 down. He has to get to grips with the Canadian's serve, which generally he does. After that he starts to dominate.

Sue Barker and co must be gutted - mind you they'll be even more so if Murray loses!

And all the non-tennis media will expect Andy to just turn up and win adding to the pressure.

(IF he wins this match)

Plus as the match goes longer, Raonic will tire in a long match vs Murray which will take a few MPH off his serve.

True the focus and pressure is on him, but its nothing compared to the pressure he had to win the thing before he did.

I said I think Federer would win against Murray if they met in the final, and I still believe he would have given that he clearly has the Scot's number as their record shows. But now we will never know. But on the point of Raonic, I looked at him today and saw someone I believe Murray will struggle with over 5 sets and, despite Murray rightly being favourite (although he has to beat Berdych first), I don't believe it's unreasonable to say I think the Canadian will win. And will I explode if Murray wins on Sunday? Of course I won't, I don't like the shouty c*** but he'll definitely deserve the title despite not meeting the other members of the top 3.

Consistently flawed predictions? What, you mean all one of them when I said I thought Federer would win the title? And that constitutes an astounding lack of understanding, does it? You don't think you're going a little OTT there? Would that mean Berdych beating Murray or the Scot losing in the final to Raonic constitutes an astounding lack of understanding on your part? I say this with the greatest respect Admin, but you're full of shit.
