I wouldn't hold your breath, Pags - Chelsea Royale also "supports" Manchester City so we'll need to hope for Arsenal to do the unthinkable and develop some bottle.

I saw what you did there. Don't you know, it's our fucking year!

If you do go on to win the title this year you'll probably see Chelsea Royale slither back to the forum next August with a Liverpool avatar - is it really worth it?

Whenever I see his username I think of that brilliant scene in Pulp Fiction and I like that so I like Chelsea Royale. And it's not like this forum is flowing over with Chelsea fans.

Look for me its simple .Liverpool have a great history of which we're proud of.Why wouldn't we be, few clubs come even close.

We also have a very entertaining side this season which is competing at the top of the table and I'd say most are proud of /excited about too . End of.
The rest of the bollocks chatted on here is mostly just that.......bollocks but the fact you are discussing us once again speaks volumes. :ohy:

There is a slight difference in discussing Liverpool and taking the piss, if your fellow supporters didn't make you look like bell ends we wouldn't even be discussing or taking the piss.

Your keep thinking were all worried about you mate lolzx

Similarly whenever I see his username I think of reenacting the needle scene with me as John Travolta (naturally) and Chelsea Royale as Uma.

On a multi club forum discussing and taking the piss are often one and the same,JT.

Ah, good, coz worrying won't help anyway , mate .

Feel like if Chelsea keep up this form for a few weeks they've pretty much won the title unless they have a total collapse like they did at the beginning of last season.

They are only just eeking out the results now though aren't they. Played shite the last four and fluked most of those. Fair play, they dogged them out though, something many of the other sides around them struggle to do.

Only watched them play a couple times but they seem like a very good team, especially the back 3 and Hazard and Costa in attack.

Seen on another forum re Liverpool:

Worth mentioning we've played seven at home and 10 away. Just nine aways left in 21 games, plus we've been to Arsenal, Spurs, Chelsea and Everton. Looking good!

Undefeated at home as well in the league since Man Utd's fluke last season. Not bad going that. I'd be happy with another 10 or 11 wins first to get CL football then go from there if we are still in the title race.

The sign of a potential title-winner if you ask me. Getting results when not looking that impressive. Imagine if they hit top gear again...

Saw a stat before regarding the 3 games over the xmas period and the amount of days to play these games Chelsea is over a 10 day period where Liverpools is only 7 them 3 extra days recovery are massive so be interesting to see how we cope.

Stockport County.
It's between Chelsea and Liverpool. Chelsea have the 6 point leadand more experience of winning titles and trophies in their squad so they have a good shot.

Both Conte and Klopp are doing good jobs. I look at Liverpool's team and I don't see brilliance so you have to give the manager his dues.

City have dropped out of the top four despite being one ahead of two points per game. When did that last happen after more than 15-ish games? It's a ridiculously competitive season. Meanwhile Chelsea are on course to achieve 98 points, and they had a poor start. Perfect time for us to have our best season in two decades.

There's been a stat floating around for the last few days about the total points for the fifth placed team being at a record high for this stage of the season.

United keep on winning and we aren't cracking the top four because the teams above us are winning and winning and winning too.

Until they play each other, of course.

We're in the title race no doubt, but we need a Chelsea meltdown to win the league.
I hope they have one but it looks very unlikely at this point.

Chelsea will struggle to make top four in my very honest and humble opinion.

It's ten games in, it's november, it's officially ok to look at the table even if you followed football in 70's.

Over the past five seasons, we've seen City win it twice while Manchester United, Chelsea and Leicester all have won the trophy on one occasion each. Over these years the most points accumulated was 89 (City 2012 and United 2013). The least points required to win the title over these five years came last season when Leicester did it with only 81 points, the least since United in 2011 (80 points).

Right now, we've got three teams at the top of the table on 23 points each, or 2,3 points per game, an average that would result in 87 points -- clear title winning form from Liverpool, City and Arsenal.

Lingering one point behind is Chelsea on 22 (84 points average) and Spurs on 20 (76 point average, usual albeit innacurate benchmark for top 4).

Out of the annually expected top six*, United are lagging behind eight points off the top 3. In between them and Tottenham are perhaps surprisingly Ronald Koeman's Everton and definitely surprisingly Walter Mazzari's Watford. Maybe three at the back is the next flavour of the month?

So, here we are.

1. Who will win it?
2. How many points will it take?
3. Can anyone outside the annually expected top six make a surprise title tilt?

* City, United, Tottenham, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal.
I believe LFC take the trophy this year provided the audience take up this song:
