Birmingham fans really don’t like it when you mention Ollie Watkins and/or Villa do they?

Also, pretty much running to script… plenty of Birmingham ball, referee wearing a blues shirt, us not having a shot. Just need a stanno goal and that’s the day sorted.

Horrible game to watch at Sixfields. We had better chances first half with Darikwa scoring after House hit the post. Northampton had sightly more about them 2nd half with our keeper called into a couple of saves. Hackett had a great chance for us too. Northampton very very flat, expected much more from them. They had a spell of pressure 70 mins, but we saw the game out with more ease than expected.

Not great from us, but we needed to score from open play which we haven't done in a lifetime, we needed the win and the clean sheet was the only way we would get the 3 points (as couldnt see us scoring 2). Very positive in that regard.

Well this is fun!
Can’t see us holding out second half given thirteen players out injured (well, 12 injured and one suspended) and only youth players on the bench, but the Cambridge lead is well-deserved…

Fully deserved lead at the Mad Jetski for County, could easily be more than 2-0. We're not great on the road this season but this has been a strong, dominant performance, plenty of slicing through the Reading defence & midfield and barely let anything get through at the other end. I would give recognition for Reading being where they are given all the troubles off-field, but after seeing that little s##t clatter Connolly into the hoardings then give it the big "and what" they can all get f####d.

Toothless at Sixfields today. Had more territory and possession but against a poor Lincoln side we couldn’t make anything count. Big opportunity missed and we really need to either get some players back or get some players in.

Football is a cruel mistress, eh?

Lead for 84 out of 90 minutes and have it level because you twat it in your own net.

Should feel like a good point, but it doesn't. Ah well, some heart, maybe not all is lost yet.

Promotion stuff from Birmingham and Wycombe. Gamesmanship and timewasting galore apparently, whatever it takes to win the game. Fair play to them.

So nice of Darrell to instruct his players to miss sitters from start to finish. Once a gashead...

Could you imagine us bagging a late winner away from home like Wycombe did there?

Stuff like that sets them apart.

His record of Rovers wins at the Mem lives strong, god bless DC.

Hope it doesn’t put him under too much pressure though.

Nice to have a bit of breathing room from the bottom 4

Na, not away. Nobody even knows who their manager was today and they are still getting wins like that.

Arghhhhhh!

So we’ve played each other home and away now, all Mansfield fans are going home thinking how the fuck have we lost those two games; whereas Wycombe fans will be thinking the opposite!

In truth today was going the same way the first fixture, nobody doing enough to win it but then Wycombe got a penalty. We equalised via a brilliant Akins header then Wycombe started to look like they settled for a point, some annoyingly good shithousery time wasting. Evans forced an absolute worldie of a save from their GK, then missed a sitter afterwards. Out of nowhere they get a second and see the game out.

To be fair the winner was not a fluke, and the amazing GK save essentially turned what was a certain defeat to a victory for them, but from our perspective we will probably end up with PTSD from those two games!

Reading have been terrible in both games against us. They are what we are to Mansfield Town.

The Wycombe manager worked in a call centre last week and has now just put Nigel Clough on toast.

It's their year.

Maybe Dave should ring him for some tips

Cant complain about the result when you have zero shots on goal, though that was due to Birmingham defending well. Boiled down to one silly mistake just before half time.
Disappointed to lose Harper to a bad injury and now McMillan will be another defender out so playing some more midfielders at the back against Peterborough.
Another ref who applies different rules to both teams though, good job Caldwell wasn't on the touchline today

Went the game today, how Masi rates Santos so much is a mystery to me. Just shy of 20,000 and it abysmal, When we equalised for the second time the crowd started the Evatt out chants, I mean the whole stadium. He can't survive this surely

Mansfield 'unlucky' again I've heard. For the 20th time this season they've deserved to win.

Draw a fair result at Posh today, quite an end to end game with both sides lacking that cutting edge in attack - neither keeper had much to do in truth, despite the game at times going end to end like a basketball game, you can see why Posh leak alot of goals, the tend to be a bit too open at times.

Amazingly that was their first clean sheet of the season, compared to our 13th.

As expected a few of our players weren't as on it as they usually are after Tuesday, but battled on.

Wellens said afterwards we're trying to sign Sonny Perkins pernamently to try and sort the loan situation out, 8 weeks ago I really wanted us to send him back, part of me still does.

I think it’s the difference between what we’re used to in league 2 and what we’re playing against now. Tbh today was a bit like our game at your place - should’ve easily got a point - but the stats show an L

Last season we won that game, today we didn’t - though in fairness when you’ve hit the crossbar, saved a penalty but they scored the rebound etc yeah it was certainly a case of rotten luck, anyone (including any wycombe fans) would’ve said we were worth the draw at least, but being worth a draw and getting it aren’t the same thing.

Apart from birmingham first half, huddersfield and fleeting moments from bolton, i’m yet to see any side that really makes me sit up and think they’re out there compared to the rest.

Wycombe with injuries galore, key players back to parent clubs, manager left them, constant upheavel.

But Mansfield fans are saying they were lucky today?

Classless.

I didn't mean to sound disrespectful to Cambridge on my post before, it was just more impactful for the crowd to turn as we scored and get the message through that we need a fresh manager and new ideas, . A home draw to Cambridge is not a total disaster but Evatt thought he had got out of jail with the own goal equaliser and he hasn't. The fans made sure this kind of performance is not gonna wash. We were rubbish and Cambridge would be disappointed big time not holding out.

We were battered by Barnsley. We should have had 5 but they should have had 10. Best team at the Mem all season.

You didn't at all pal, don't worry.

And to be honest the weirdness of an equalising goal being met by a whole stadium booing will probably still tickle us in years to come!

Well, apart from recalling a 17 year old keeper from a loan spell on the day, that Crawley v Burton game went exactly how I said it would.

I've known we were getting relegated pretty much all season but this result is one of the nails in the coffin. If you can't beat the teams around you at home...!

I was expecting to have some players through the door by now. Our recruitment department need sacking and, although I have sympathy for Elliot and the hand he has been dealt (it is the definition of madness to keep doing the same thing and expect different outcomes), the calls from the fans for him to go are getting louder.
