Last time your mob came here on the opening day I remember laughing as I saw them walk to the ground from our train station, you still won of course. This time we're ensuring you make the whole bloody journey on foot

That was our first ever game in the EFL, we lost 1-0 you scored a last minute winner.

Sorry, I'm clearly so used to losing that sort of game that it came as a natural inference. My apologies.

You're still walking though

The two games that I was most looking forward to Chesterfield and Notts County away and I’m working both of the fuckers. :dis:
Only consolation is I’m off for Halifax away on Boxing Day which should be good.

Home to us on the opening day so our chance to get on Netflix.

A shut out to the Yeovil Glovers on the opening day for the Dragons franchise, what do you think about that Chip?

Ours will probably be moved to Friday night.

Can't remember the last time we played at home on boxing day. Be a nice change. Expected it would be Grimsby In the double header. We seem to have a lot of the big boys at home early in the season.

Will make a change from our Lincoln Boxing Day away days of previous seasons when incidentally there were about 5000 empty seats each time despite all these current Lincoln fans claiming to have supported them their whole lives, they must have all been busy shopping back then.

I don't go to Boxing Day football ever so won't be making it to The Shay this season, which is annoying as I was looking forward to that one. I guess there's potentially the chance of it being postponed though.

Well...until they cried to the Conference and got it cancelled because we used to spank them too hard.

The Shay between December and a start of March is generally shocking so you may have a chance yet. We were due to play Hartlepool at home new years day last season it ended up mid march and 3 attempts later

How many fans does the Roots Hall away end hold? We'll be taking a lot of fans down there on the 4th September.

Allocation is only 1200 I think, but I don't know if there's scope to increase that.

Does nobody know what the Bromley allocation is, then?

Officially it's the terrace up to the dug out, whether they extend that for teams with bigger support i don't know
