It does seem RATHER PERVERSE. We've something of a WAFER THIN squad and, to my mind, just about the only area that DOESN'T require a reinforcement is CB. 'Spose it might free up Azpi for RWB if that's the thinking but it does seem A BIT STRANGE.

Well you only have Luiz, Ridiger, Cahill and Christensen as actual centrebacks don't you? Even with Azp that's 5 guys for a back 3 and every club wants 2 guys for each position so if you plonk Azp with Moses at right wingback, then that's only Christensen left to cover your back 3 for injuries/suspensions/champions leeeeeeeeeeeague.
Not really a shocker. I'm surprised Chelsea haven't done more this window.

Looks like he could be a very good player.

Likes to sit in front of the back 4 and always wanting the ball. Great awareness and very good at holding the ball, attracting players in and releasing to space. He is also pretty good at finding good positions in the box when attacking. His defensive side needs work, good at tracking back and putting pressure on but not so good at getting the challenge in.

I'd love to see him get a chance for us as he looks so comfortable on the ball and playing alongside someone like Wanyana would be perfect for him.

He's played in all of the midfield roles for us. He's always looked at his best central and looking for the ball for me. I think he played cm for the under 20s at the World Cup as well.

Absolutely, but Saltire promised the forum he would never touch a drop of whiskey again if Coutinho moved, such was his confidence in the player staying at Liverpool.

Apparently though theyve already sounded out Ousmane Dembele and sources i Spain think he is the most likely of the supposed shortlist. Dortmund have said it'll take 100mill to get the Frenchman, so if Coutinho is priced that high then maybe he won't go.
Dembele would be an awesome aqcuisition for Man Utd, not so much Barca imo. Couts a better fit.

Is Dembele a "proper winger" type or more of an inside forward? Jose definitely seems to want a proper winger to stretch the pitch and get some crosses in for Lukaku to feed on, hence the Perišić pursuit.
