Done deal according to JJH a few days ago.
There were multiple sources saying that WTGR Craig. I guess he had a think while he was on holiday and decided to stay.
No problem with that from us bud, good for you.

So I was told. Like I said on Twitter, happy to hold my hands up and admit defeat on it - I don't blame him at all. There was definitely something in it, and as previously said I expect he's had a chance to mull over it on his holiday, and has chosen correctly.

Cant believe 2 championship clubs were fighting over Hammill, we had him on loan 2 seasons ago and he isn't championship quality hence why Huddersfield got shut and we refused to sign him permanent after the loan.

Like I said, he's only really ever been a success at Barnsley. I'm not that worried, as long as we sign Tomlin. If we don't, then I'll start to panic.

He is Championship quality though. He was making mugs out of defences in this league on a weekly basis last time he was here with us. Granted he was poor for Rotherham but he held down a regular place at Huddersfield although obviously not as prolific as he was for us back when he was here 2009-11. His move to Wolves was a mistake and stunted his career quite a bit. He obviously enjoys his football at Oakwell and I'm confident he'll be the same player he was for us last time he pulled on a Barnsley shirt in the Championship.

Only club Hammill ever left Barnsley for was Wolves, that turned out well ... I like Hammill though, he was decent for Wolves the few times he did play. He just fell out with Mick McCarthy early on into his Wolves career and was never given a chance after that.

Also West Ham are favourites to sign Dominic Iorfa for 7m... he is actually worth it though, unlike Lewis fucking Dunk.

We rejected a bid for Dunk, that much seems true - where the hell has the £10 million figure come from though?!

We're trying to resign Jordi Gomez according to Jim White. He's big mates with Uncle Dave so anything he reports related to us is reliable. He'd probably have to take a big wage cut but if he does so and we play him centrally where he doesn't have to do much running and can dictate play, it'd be a very good signing. Also Alex Gilbey is said to have agreed to join us, just got to sort compensation/tribunal issues which will take a while if Max Power was anything to go by.

Only our 24 year old chairman would be out at Parklife festival while all his lackeys in the office are trying to sign players. What a guy! :D

Hammill wouldn't have been a great signing for Bristol City I don't think, and I was always surprised to see excitement over him, but he's a brilliant signing for Barnsley now that he's got his mojo back over there. Seems the kind of guy that will only flourish in certain places. He's definite Championship quality and was great for us under Mark Robins.

Elphick to Villa confirmed so the BBC think :(

All the best Tommy, been a hero to AFCB these past years. Totally understandable move assuming you've been given first team assurances. Look after him Villa.

3m a decent enough fee I guess.

Indications down south that Leeds are one of clubs interested in Bournemouth CB Tommy Elphick. No bid yet. Villa have had a £3m bid accepted

Presumably you'll also be accepting our £120k offer (3 year instalments) and he'll join up with us :dk:

We won't match the bid and there's no way he'd choose us over Villa so would rather Phil didn't get people excited

I wouldn't mind us looking at Elphick, we're definitely in need of 1 more centre half to compete with Loovens and Lees but can't see us competing with Villa.

Us and Newcastle have made an approach for Nice forward Alexandre Mendy, but he wants a move to Guingamp.

Matt Derbyshire leaving Rotherham to join some club in Cyprus.

Nothing official at our end, though it is on the official Omondia Nicosia site that he is there for a medical.

He has always divided opinion up here but he had a really good finish to the season with Neil Warnock in charge.

Warnock made him run his balls off in an unfamiliar role, but he stuck to it and changed a few opinions in the end.

I would thank him for his service and I wouldn't blame him if he wanted his last couple of years retired in the sun.

Good move for Derbyshire that, from Rotherham to sunny Cyprus.

We've been linked with a £1.1M move for David Cotterill, not particularly bothered about him although he has been decent for Birmingham, and we are in need of a winger. Nixon has quashed it straight away but Nixon...

Its bollox, we tend not to sign ex Pigs. Two bids in, one for a centre back in this league (not Dunk) and a striker from Spain.

From what I'm told you've offered him reduced terms hence he's moving on.

Nothing actually confirmed, but glad that Di Matteo is making moves already in light of Dr Tony being confirmed as owner.

Heard the same thing and it was only for a year.
Pity really because who ever we get in to replace him will still want a good deal and might not be as good
Still you have to give the new manager a bit of leeway he might surprise us.
But according to Mr Nixon, Stokes is going to Blackburn..........
