We instantly came out and rebuffed any interest. It's just lazy journalism on the day we play them.

Only players we've apparently got real interest in at this stage is Loftus-Cheek and Scott Hogan.
Not Judge too? Pretty strongly linked on this end.

Well he has probably seen how much better Derby look with a manager who has coached him before..

https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/foot...to-end-spell-and-return-to-derby-immediately/

We'll see at 8pm if this is the case, until then I won't get my hopes up. There's been no sign of anything like this until today, both player and manager doing previous interviews which sounded like it would be made permanent ASAP.

No brainer though, he seemed happy here before Nigel Pearson shoved him out, the team is set up to play with a centre forward like him and we'll need a replacement if he doesn't come back. A lot of Derby fans want to move on but why would you turn down the chance to reunite him and McClaren who he scored 40 odd goals under him previously.

I'm 110% biased mind, easily my favourite player in recent years. Class at this level if played correctly.

We've signed Sam Johnstone on loan until the end of the season according to Twitter and The Scum.

Fuck you, Sunderland! :fing:

Chris Humphrey released, not quite up to this level but he was seriously under appreciated by a lot of our simpleton fans.

Also Sam Johnstone is a good keeper, think he will do well at Villa.

Well he can't be worse than Guzan and Gollini... Bunn isn't bad to have as a second choice, but as first choice when (hopefully) chasing promotion? Nah.

Martin not in the squad tonight. Fulham gaffer to explain post match current situation but it's not an injury. No surprises in what the reason is I imagine

Wolves supposedly interested in Jordan Hugill according to that HITC website, got to be looking at similar money to Garner if there is any truth in this.

I liked humphrey, always gave his all and that's all you can ask for I suppose, hope he gets a decent club.

Can't see this being true, if it is hopefully we get a good fee for him and reinvest it all on another striker. Would rather Beckford and Doyle go before him though.

No offense to PNE fans but Jordan Hugill would probably be the most depressing signing I've seen in my time supporting Wolves, yet the irony being he has scored more than any other striker in our team this season.

Jansson's 20th game comes on Monday, which is supposed to trigger a £3.5m purchase. I'm imagining it won't be that simple but I bloody hope so. Easily one of the best CBs in the division, mutual love with the fans and even if we wanted to sell him, you're definitely looking at a £10m player in our market.

Jota pretty much confirmed now as returning to the club. Huge news and boost for us, he was one of the best players in the Championship during his first season with us, and we turned down a £7m+ bid for him just before his injury. Shame he had to go, but even if he's only half the player he was having barely played for a couple of years, he'll still be a massive upgrade for us.

Local rags suggesting we can get him for £600k because of his injury

Don't think we'll end up buying a striker unless we really want rid of Mitrovic and by all accounts we don't. A creative midfielder and a winger will be top of our shopping list.

Jokanovic tried to play it all down, but McClaren confirmed it all this afternoon

On the subject of Forestieri...people our end are saying he refused to play again today? Have we been in touch with his agent again?

Apparently picked up a knock against Newcastle. I reckon he didn't fancy playing against Pearson again.

Ipswich are trying to sign Danny Ward for 500k apparently.

Contract is out at the end of the season so we might aswel sell if its true.

Yeah, because of his injury and he's only got 6 months left on his contract. Massive blow for us financially as we were getting bids of c.£8m lined up before he got injured. Same with Jota. Huge financial blow for a club like ours.

If we had a shot of play offs I would say we'd probably keep hold of him for 6 months but we don't so we'll get whatever money we can.
