2-0 down and that feels so cruel.

We can compete with most teams in this division despite the budget differences but the individual mistakes every single game make it impossible
Think Scunny had the edge in the opening twenty minutes but Rovers started getting more into it. A very good second goal, volley from Nevitt makes the scoreline seem more comfortable than it feels. Don’t think we’ve got it done and dusted yet though.

Second goal killed us, we're so low on confidence and have such a lack of experience in the team it was always going to be the dagger.

If Tranmere go for this it could end 4 or 5

Been impressed by Omotoye so far, yet to see if he has the finishing prowess we're so badly missing but he looks a real smart little player. Has an awareness you don't normally see in Premier league academy loanees.

And just after I write that he proper buys a free kick and gets a Bradford player booked as a result. I like him.

Should have got one back but Tranmere clear it off the line, just don't seem to get that rub of the green when you're at the bottom

Carlisle commentators talking about the home side being different class. We’ve been absolutely pants yet again, but Carlisle, different class?

WOW!

This game just isn't a 3-0 game but that's what happens when you're at the bottom

It's been far from imperious by us. Not sure if the new commentator has seen much L2 football before he found himself elevated into his current position thanks to club politics

Three points coming up for any team lucky enough to play County in the next few games. We haven't looked arsed for several weeks.

First half we were dreadful and Crawley scored with a great finish. Second half it was all us, not sure how we didnt score a couple, let alone one. Crawley battled and made a ton of blocks but we had one or two chances that you have to put away. Been drawn back into the pack now, need to regain our groove asap. Lost our defensive solidity also, only 1 clean sheet in 8 now for us. Hopefully a few additions incoming.

Adams is the only manager I've actually hated. Can't stand him. But we need to give him more time, especially in Jan so he can sign more shite like Threlkeld. Wahey. I genuinely wouldn't be arsed if I woke up tomorrow and the club had folded. It's draining following this shite.

Sparks needs fucking off too. Fat gobshite.

How we didn’t score at least a couple in that second half I’ll never know. Our new striker hit the bar from 3 yards out and then missed a one on one. Arghh. Need a striker and a win quick.

Better side according to Adams on radio. Guy hasn't a clue. I want Gary Bowyer back.

Different class to what we’ve been recently is likely what they meant. The bar was as low as you could possibly imagine so today was a marked improvement.

You looked poor against us. Could get dragged into it. Stevenage aren't a good team by any standard
Walsall aren’t getting dragged into anything. They’re 10 points above Scunthorpe with a game in hand

When you look back at the game as a whole, we could have had 6 or 7 quite easily today. It was a very comfortable win in the end and has helped our goal difference massively.

Scunny actually looked alright and played some nice football at times. However apart from that one where it was cleared off the line, our keeper wasn’t worked at all. If they could get some end product then I’d fancy them to be safe. If not then it will be a massive struggle.

As for us, we’re up to second and getting better week by week. If we can ship a couple of dead wood players out and make some positive additions this January then we’ve got a right chance of promotion.

Actually thought Bradford edged the first half. Started off brightly, we got lucky with the disallowed goal and then Gibson took his goal brilliantly.

Second half we started playing properly and I thought we were the much better team. Probably our most encouraging 45 of the season. Defended well and actually looked a threat. Patrick was really good when he came on and deserved his goal. I actually thought his disallowed goal was onside but if it was it evens it’s self out after bradford’s disallowed goal.

More encouraged by that than any previous game this season. Amazing what a difference a bit of pace and power can make. Bradford had a real poor today though so we shouldn’t get ahead of ourselves, we are still in deep deep shit.

I actually thought Scunthorpe were the poorest of the struggling teams we have played this season. Not because of lack of effort, but lack of quality at both ends of the pitch. They were really toothless up front and really open defensively when they were chasing the game.

We are starting to create more chances now, with both strikers looking dangerous, which is a big improvement on a couple of months ago. Glatzel also looked sharp when he came off the bench. If we can keep the same line up at the back, and Clarke and Davies avoid injury, it will be a good second half of the season.

Im not sure you know. I agree that they were toothless up top and defensively they aren’t great but they played some neat football. Mainly at the start of the game and then in that 15 min spell they had before we bagged our 3rd. That all said, as mentioned in the before post, we could have scored 6 or 7 and that wouldn’t have flattered us.

It’s weird being 2nd ain’t it. Don’t really know what to do but sit back and have a few whiskies tonight!

I thought you would kick on after beating vale. Granted we were appalling that night but you looked pretty solid.

Genuinely thought Walsall would be up there this season but just hasn't happened.

What is going on with Bradford? Really poor signings looking from the outside for a club of their stature. Looks a really bang average squad. Some of the signings seemed pretty desperate and without any thought and just basically signing whoever was left.

I just think Oldham looked far more dangerous on the three occasions we played them, and should have beaten us a few weeks ago. Barrow played better football than Scunthorpe, and had one or two players like Gotts who you were frightened of when they got on the ball.

However, I never felt we were really threatened today.

Missing sitters, goalie making great saves and wrong options taken by the forwards. When that happens to the opposition you have a chance of nicking a 0-1. And we did!

Out and about today but that has cheered me up no end!

Today summed up why we're getting relegated.

We can compete for large parts of the game but the minute we make that individual error that causes a goal the heads go and it's game over. We just have such a lack of experience, particularly in midfield. Jay Spearing was against Tom Pugh and Dan Gallimore today, he's most likely on a lot more than what they are combined. We just can't build a good enough squad with so little money. We are toothless and that isn't helped by the fact we had to sign our main striker because we have so little money.

It will take a miracle to keep us up this year and Keith Hill deserves a statue if he manages it.
