Very true tbf.

I’m sure Oxford will suffer the backlash of our hammering at Cheltenham, and if not then Cambridge will definitely get the backlash of our hammering by Oxford. It has to happen at some point!

In all seriousness though, Vale fans should stick a tenner on at 275/1 just in case. Pays for a holiday if it all somehow goes tits up.

Trotters away and this is probably the best chance we will ever have of getting something from this game. Expect a huge reaction from the hosts after Tuesday's debacle so Fleetwood's recent good form should stand them in good stead. A measure of the Cod's improvement all round is a loss will be more than disappointing, having said that a draw will be very creditable 1-1

I'm really relaxed and just looking forward to the weekend in London. Absolutely zero chance of all the results occurring in order to relegate us.

Charlton might be a bit more up for it as they've had a few shockers recently and will want to go out on a high in their last home game. We've got a few key injuries (again) so it'll be another makeshift side.

I'm hoping we can get a draw but all depends on what sort of team we can field.
Even we did the double over Charlton, you won't have any problems

My family are all Leicester fans and they were 5000/1 to win the Prem!

9 goals if you consider it over 5 results, you get a 5 goal swing so only take them panning FGR 2/3-0 and us losing to Argyle 2-0 and its gone.

Its the Vale thing to worry, we are also writing off us getting a point which I would hope we can find 1 or 3 from the last 2 if we perform, especially if they want AC to get the job.
I get it. Being a Vale fan tunes you to things going drastically wrong....but I'm 100% certain that 9 results aren't going to go against us. I've done enough accumulators to know that out of 5 results, at least 1 normally goes against how you would think. Getting 9 results right is nigh on impossible!

Not so relaxed, I think MK will beat a weakend Barnsley who will be resting for the Play Offs and Oxford will beat FGR so reliant on Cambridge not beating Stanley which is a real 50-50 game.
This is a stupid post and I’m tempted to report you for being so idiotic.

We will see!

On tomorrow's game, appears Worrall is fit which is a big boost as Robinson has been all over the place recently with his red at Lincoln and the incident with fans after Accrington.

It happens, it did to us when we got relegated to the conference with DC. We were only in the relegation places for a number of minutes that season but unfortunately were the final minutes
A lot of things had to go against us that day, some unlikely, and they bloody did. Even relegated by Mansfield playing in our kit just to rub it in.
Saying that ive just looked at the table for the first time in a few weeks and cant see you being in any trouble at that stage so totally agree with you.

Its just worry and being used to being let down, in the Play Off Final with 8 minutes to go 2-0 against 10 men and absolutely cruising I was counting down the minutes every 60 seconds to get through with the 2 goal lead still intact! It was only when Sir Mal volleyed home the 3rd in the 86th minute I started to relax and enjoy it despite messages saying its all done you've done it at half time from everyone else!

Looking forward to being an extra at the Ipswich Town promotion party...

Hopefully getting there early and finding somewhere for a quiet pint, shouldn't be difficult...

My family are all Leicester fans and they were 5000/1 to win the Prem!

That was when every team had 0 points and there were still 36 games to play to be fair.

They wouldn’t have been 275/1 to win it with two games left.

You will get something tomorrow anyway.

Exeter are 18/1 on 365 which is a huge price!

Accy away which will be very difficult, hoping our quality will shine through but fully expecting a proper battle, annoyingly can’t make this due to family commitments so will be constantly checking for updates.

COME ON YOU U’S

KTF.

Not necessarily must win territory but a win today against us would probably take Morecambe out the relegation zone and not playing catch-up going into the final game.

They've got to go for it and we're fairly happy counter attacking so the first goal will be important, although it is in our games full stop - this season we've only failed to pick up points once when scoring first and never won when conceding first!

Don't think we're due any further returns from injury, so probably the same side as midweek.

Proctor starting for us up top. Great to see Tommy Mac on the bench and hopefully he comes on today.

Regardless though glorious day in London in a nice stadium. Just try not to ruin it too much Vale. Nothing really on this game other than players playing for contracts on both teams (I daresay fans of both clubs may prefer those contracts were elsewhere in some cases).

Our first eleven almost picks itself - ten points from six games and those included Plymouth, Bolton, Wycombe and Peterborough, so it’s a decent side.
All depends which team settles first I think, and whether we can actually take our chances , unlike against Wycombe.
Accrington are a bit of a bogey team though, so lots of nervous U’s…

A very lifeless performance from Vale in that half. Just no pace to us at all and nobody wanting to make runs off the ball. Charlton have never had it so easy. Piss poor attempt at a clearing header from Forrester on their goal.

I’m going out on a limb that Ipswich may be up now.

Absolutely shit game at Adams Park, feels very much like the dead rubber that it is, but that said, Cheltenham deserve their lead (despite not even turning up for the first 10 minutes) - and if I'm honest, they had a shot "cleared off the line" that if we'd had goal-line technology, I wonder if that wouldn't have been given.

We've looked very flat from an attacking perspective and CTFC have looked decent at the back, which doesn't bode well for us.

Half-time bollocking needed on our part, I'd say.
