TUESDAY 28TH FEBRUARY
  • Derby County v Cheltenham Town
  • Lincoln City v Milton Keynes Dons
  • Peterborough United v Charlton Athletic
  • Portsmouth v Bolton Wanderers

SATURDAY 4TH MARCH

  • Morecambe v Bolton Wanderers
  • Accrington Stanley v Forest Green Rovers
  • Bristol Rovers v Barnsley
  • Cambridge United v Portsmouth
  • Cheltenham Town v Fleetwood Town
  • Derby County v Shrewsbury Town
  • Ipswich Town v Burton Albion
  • Lincoln City v Oxford United
  • Plymouth Argyle v Charlton Athletic
  • Port Vale v Milton Keynes Dons
  • Sheffield Wednesday v Peterborough United
  • Wycombe Wanderers v Exeter City
Sexy fixture of the week is obviously the massive relegation six-pointer between Accy and FGR.

I imagine a few eyes will be on Lincoln v Oxford too to see if OUFC can start to stop the rot with their interim management team in place.

Can see in midweek it catching up with Bolton a bit and them slipping up there. Seeing their managers interview after our game you could tell they were pretty spent. Long journey to Portsmouth won’t help.

With a week off for us and most of the squad back playing I’m expecting us to try and get on the front foot and see if we can beat MK (who also have a tricky midweek fixture).

Hope not, we have some players back, however, we were laboured on Saturday. One thing though, after we play Wednesday on the 17th March, we don't play again until the 7th April

Home to MK for us. They've picked up more points at home than away, same as us, and have picked up the same amount of points on the road, too.

We're without Montsma (suspended), Jackson (calf) and Walsh (groin). Oakley-Booth hasn't been involved for a few weeks because a) he's not very good (IMO) and b) he's the 6th loan. House was ill on Saturday but played and should be ok again. Mandroiu travelled to FGR, failed a fitness test but is available. If Mandroiu is available, then as tempted as Kennedy might be to go with four at the back, a back two of Connor/Eyoma would feel a risk to me.

Big three games for us next - MK, Oxford and Cheltenham (with Exeter and Fleetwood coming up, too). A decent return and we're pretty much safe for another season. Then we hit Posh, Wednessday, Barnsley, Wycombe, Plymouth!).

Oh, and Sanders. He seems to have gone missing in recent weeks and no-one really knows why. Can't see us filling the bench again either.

I completely agree. I think there’s a good chance we lose tonight… we looked tired against you and as you say that long journey really won’t help. We will have to rotate and we are only really consistent when we pick a settled side. We also still have quite a few missing through injury. Will be tough.

We have a weirdly good record this season in 7:45pm games (in the league) - W6 D1 L0. Only three Saturday 3pm wins all season!!

Still, fully expecting a 4 or 5-0er here based on the last couple of league games.

Not sure where you've got your stats from, but we've picked up 10 points (from 29) at home to your 21.

I honestly can't get my head around that stat - it blows my mind.

Even more so if we get something out of tonight's game.

SPOILER - We won't.

Sorry, I initially meant that you've picked up more points away from home i.e. season form, which is the same as us in that respect, rather than the same amount of points won.

But I've just checked again and whilst you've picked up more points on the road, we've actually picked more points at home (21) than away (19) so the site I looked at earlier was incorrect, thus I was talking bollocks!

Got your game in my acca, over 2.5 gls. So you’ll probably keep a clean sheet now.

Very similar to the set up we had away at Charlton and Peterborough. Just hope we have the legs.
Big test for us tonight. Since the start of our collapse back in September we've been outplayed by the better teams in this division. This will be a good marker to see if we're genuinely making progress under Mousinho. I think a draw is likeliest, all said and done.

Usually I’d take a draw but with the position we are in we need to keep winning to keep pressure on those above us and maintain the gap to those chasing playoffs as the others have games in hand. We are in a much better position than we were this time last season though.

From the outside Mousinho looks like he’s doing a decent job but probably needs a couple of transfer windows to really put his stamp on the team.

Don’t know if it’s the pitch or what but never seen us misplace so many passes in the opening 15 mins of a game. And Trafford's mishit 3/4 kicks already. Seems to be bobbling a lot

So far looks like Derby are having an off day and our tactic is to lump it up to our 5'8" striker so not looking good so far. If Derby get one though the floodgates will probably open

K-Win that was a strange first half. Masters of our own downfall for a lot of that half. Don’t think you’ve offered that much other than a few dangerous set pieces but we keep giving the ball away in stupid areas. When we get on the ball in your half we’ve been quite tidy without the end product but no idea what’s going on at the back.

Think you might regret missing those chances as I think we’ll go up a gear in the second half. I think the ref is just guessing now with fouls too. He’s given some poor decisions.

Think I’d been bringing Lee off, stick shoretire at 10 and bring on Nlundulu or Adeboyejo.

Get in. Not sure it’s a deserved lead but we are usually much better in the second halves of games.

All 4 goals in this game have been set pieces. Our marking has been pathetic. On the balance of play Pompey have probably deserved it. We definitely look tired and I didn’t fancy us before the game.

Chances of autos have almost definitely gone now. We just need to make sure we sustain enough momentum for the playoffs.

Imagine where we would be in the league if we could put teams to bed when 1-0 up. We are such fast starters, i've lost count the amount of times we have scored in opening 30 minutes and led. Same old story, defender goes off injuried, keeper not having much to deal with, and opposition score. MK better in the 2nd half, but we had many chances to extend the lead. Frustrating!
