Plymouth's season is starting to have similarities to Shrewsbury's 17/18 season. Can see Wednesday and Ipswich being the top 2. We were in the top 2 most of the season until 2 of the bigger boys (Wigan and Blackburn) pipped us at the end when a couple of key injuries took their toll. We also reached the Pizza Trophy final that year (which we lost) and then lost to an in form Rotherham in the play off final. At the moment I see Barnsley being that team.

Hope I'm wrong as I'd like Plymouth to go up.

Professional job from Wednesday to beat us yesterday. We threw everything at their defence but they kept us at arms length even with 10 men. You can see why they are on a long unbeaten run and will finish top this season.

Disappointing goal to concede though. Long ball through the middle which should have been dealt with by Towler, but a classy finish from Windass nonetheless. Central defence is the weakest part of our team at the moment.

It was a big week for us, and the two defeats have proven that our league position doesn't lie.

We have a fairly gentle run in now and should use it to try and build confidence for a playoff run next season, particularly away from home. Under Mousinho we're playing passing football that's much easier on the eye than under Cowley or Jackett before him.

Just seen Exeter's first goal back and I've got no idea what Roughan is doing. Kennedy said after that game it was his fault and not Rushworth's and he's right. Rushworth is a little extreme in his positioning but he's taken that kind of position up all season in those situations and Roughan had no need to turn back, he could have just put the ball back in the mixer but dawdled.

He's dropped a couple of clangers this season, the other being away at Bolton when he threw a ball straight to a Bolton player, but on the plus side, he's still not cost us as many goals in nearly a full season as Jamie Robson did in half a season.

Crickey just seen Matty Taylor’s first half miss! Harder to miss than score from there! Glad he got his first for us though as he looks a very very good player and that should bring his confidence back.

Sammy Robinson was excellent by all accounts and set one up, he’s raw he was absolutely dire at Morecambe but clearly has the ability to go far and with game time that should help find consistency.

Awful goal to concede, again a set piece we’ve not dealt with but looking at chances game should have been well over by that point.

That said we would have lost 1-0 a couple of weeks ago.

Extreme in his positioning? Understatement of the season. I could understand being out of the goal, but being that far out, and that far left, is quite frankly indefensible.

He does miss a lot particularly one on ones.
Do you think you will sign him at the end of the season? Apart from a loan at Chester before we signed him I dont think he has gone that far north.

I don't know, fans are warming to him, he has the intelligence, although after a couple of months playing wingers any number 9 is a bonus!

I expect Wilson will be let go come May so he may well have been signed with that in mind as a replacement.
