I said congrats on Saturday as you were effectively up then but I’ll say it again now it’s mathematically confirmed. Well done on a great season and thank you for not winning tonight to keep things interesting for us and Bolton!

Hoping for a couple of Scunthorpe thrashings and a couple of big wins for us, our only hope!

Well done Cheltenham on promotion. We will hopefully soon be joining you.

And also congratulations to Barrow. Amazing season considering the budget and losing Evatt. Kelly has done a great job.

Shame for Grimsby that they had a nicer-looking run of fixtures when Hurst first took over, too early to have got them going.

Massive achievement for a little tinpot team like us to stay up. It's not been pretty at all, but we have something to build on.
What a bloody relief after being dead certs for relegation a few months back and then sinking like a stone again this last couple of weeks.

Can't wait to have some away trips in the Football League next season!

Well done Cheltenham well deserved. Sad for Grimsby, never nice to see a club go down and slightly relieved it won’t be us doing the job for the axeman.

Hopefully under new ownership you flourish and bounce back stronger.

Think that sums up the Bolton fans on here, not the best set of fans it seems
So show me were i have been disrespectful to any club in this league?, for what it's worth i like Grimsby Town and feel for the fans relegation from any division hurts (just remember we have suffered 2 in two years) but out of the league really is hard to take wish them a speedy return. .Also as a member of the founder members club was gutted to see Notts County go.

We've actually done Southend a favour tonight, Barrow will clearly now be on the lash all week so you should be able to beat them, and given Scunthorpe's form it's not out of the question you can't turn the goal difference round.

We will definitely do our part to keep Southend up by losing 4-0 again twice, all depends on if they can win

Commiserations Grimsby - I don't share the hatred a lot of our fans have and I'm gutted to see you go.

As for us - we made hard work of it, but I don't care about that now. So proud of how those boys bounced back after last season's disaster in the playoffs. We've been up there all season and, if we had a decent goalscorer, I have no doubt we'd have been up sooner.

Can't wait for next season now, when hopefully we'll be back to a bit of normality. Hoping for a trip to Hillsborough (one of those I really want to tick off) and knowing we're one whole league away from the Conference will be a relief in itself.

Dear God I hope Mickey doesn't leave in the summer...

correct......and this shithouse has give me nowt but grief as that prick from your place and that hooked bastard from vale

i get immense pleasure from kicking any of the three while they are down
Haha if you think a snide comment from the biggest cretin this forum has ever had will ‘kick me while I’m down’ then you’re a bigger idiot than I gave you credit for.
I’m not down at all, we’ve known we were down for months and I’m quite proud of how these players have took it this deep to be honest and after the year I’ve just had health wise that I’ve managed to get through which I’m not going to bore everybody with, my football team getting relegated is something I can quite easily take in the grand scheme of life.

If they win both by 1 then a 3-0 and 4-0 defeat from you guys will be enough for them.

Unlucky Grimsby. We had five minutes when we had a purple patch and that turned the game. Think the sending off was crucial though
Cheers, I was kind of glad you got the 3rd, 2-2 meant we weren't mathematically down and I'd like to see Exeter go up. It's shit for Matete that he's the one that's cost us but as has been said that red has been coming, but he's been our best player since he's come in.

Apologies I guess it’s just reading all the posts from masi and thefutureswhite that I’m tarnishing all the good Bolton fans as the trolls that they are!

Didn’t think it would be long before I heard this.
And it’s absolutely true, today we’ve had two horrendous decisions go against is and it’s not the first time

Cheers and good luck in your play off quest as you Exeter fans on here are all sound with the exception of the one absolute wanker.

It's a lot more than a few poor decisions that have cost us relegation, especially as we have had a few go for us too

He's told us to shut the door about 5 times in the last couple of months, oblivious to the fact that most of us aren't actually that arsed. This relegation is nowhere near as bad as any previous ones for me.
