He's told us to shut the door about 5 times in the last couple of months, oblivious to the fact that most of us aren't actually that arsed. This relegation is nowhere near as bad as any previous ones for me.
I’ve had him on ignore all that time but when I saw the comment from Huntsman about a twats comment I thought I’d have a look at it to see what the bore had to say.

Hoping for a couple of Scunthorpe thrashings and a couple of big wins for us, our only hope!
Given that you need to win both your games while Scunthorpe lose both of theirs, there would be a minimum of a 4 goal turnaround in GD so an 8 goal turnaround is certainly possible in that situation.

Congratulations to Cheltenham, well deserved, I actually thought you were the best team in this league last season and was surprised you dint get promoted then. Shame that no fans allowed in to celebrate.

Commiserations to Grimsby fans, hate to see well supported clubs like yours drop out of the football league. Your fans have always travelled in good numbers to Valley Parade to create a good atmosphere.

Paul Hurst back to square one with you then, with the task of getting promoted out of the National League.

Commiserations to the Mariners, with any luck this will be the final time they have to rebuild their club if new owners finally come in.

Congrats Cheltenham - Happy for them after the kind gesture their fans made for us with the Justin Edinburgh flag on our first game back after his Passing - The flag is still sitting proudly in the ground as we speak.

Sadly Nerdford and the class of Nerdy2 are likely to be in the playoffs because they have us on the last day and our tools have been well and truly down recently - I think it would be best for the whole league if they just fucked off because they will just have more money reinvested into them next season and likely end up in another promotion push. So I think its better they're not here.

Urgh, gutted for Grimsby. We know only too well what a shocker the National League is. Unfair that a proper club has had to endure that twice.

Congratulations Cheltenham - very well deserved. Fingers crossed it's our turn to celebrate Friday night.

Congratulations Cheltenham, you deserve the title as well on the basis of your games against us.
Well done Barrow, can your players go on the piss for ten days please?
Eff off Salford.

Hopefully the higher up the pyramid they do, the less sustainable they will be, until like Yeovil, the arse will fall out of them when they're getting a hundred fans in the Championship

Aye I think the short term irritation of seeing the hobby club going up will be worth it if it means the rest of us don't have to come across them again next season.

Well I guess why that's why I'm not a football manager, apart from make believe in front of my computer.

The thoughts about the game will come later but I'm overjoyed to have got the job done. The overriding emotion is relief for the older generation that have been through thick and thin over the last 50 odd years as at one point I thought they'd never get the chance to see us back in the EFL.

Commiserations to Grimsby, maybe a fresh start with new owners will be a bit of a reboot the club seemingly needs. They'll be back, and I hope they do get back up, more so for this board as those on here are a decent bunch.

It's a lot more than a few poor decisions that have cost us relegation, especially as we have had a few go for us too
Yeah with those back to away wins at Cheltenham and Orient we got away with a blatant hand ball penalty in each and the Cheltenham one would’ve been a red card too at 0-0.

i think of all the teams that could go down Grimsby having been through it before probably have the best chance of a quick return.
Odd season this - Grimsby who beat us twice go down, yet Cheltenham who we beat twice go up... madness.

Given Salford's current form, coupled with Forest Green's, I can't help but think that's the top three, play-off places and bottom two all decided after tonight now.

To paraphrase Eric Morecambe, I hope you have got the right seven teams, but not necessarily in the right order.

I said congrats on Saturday as you were effectively up then but I’ll say it again now it’s mathematically confirmed. Well done on a great season and thank you for not winning tonight to keep things interesting for us and Bolton!
I think you'll win the title now - Newport have so much more to play for than us on Saturday I can't see us getting more than a point, and you should win both your games. Can't say I'm too fussed at this particular moment though!!

That’s now 7 games without a goal from open play.

Big improvements needed over the summer. We’ve been relegation standard over the second half of the season.

One or two signings away of being a top side, according to Lumsdon.

Sky Sports keep saying that Barrow have 'all but' secured their league status.

What table are they looking at?

Look at the goal difference between Barrow and Sarfend. Sarfend need to gain a plus 25 GD. Barra are safe. Unless you're querying the "all but" bit.

8 points clear of Southend with 2 games (and 6 points to play for) means our goal difference is irrelevant now.
