Bring back Stanley maybe or Hawkridge in there as he did a decent job in there at the end of last season?
We look quite a small team bar the defenders, tough game or a two coming til the Cowleys can get rid of the players they don't want.
I don't think they'd turn to Stanley even if they had 0 midfielders to be honest. Hawkridge isn't really a CM either.

Sounds as though Matt Rhead might be in with a chance and that it may just have been a bit of cramp (very early in the game for that you'd imagine, but he's playing a way he hasn't done before). I'd rather him miss tomorrow and be fit for Saturday rather than take too much of a risk on him tomorrow.

They're only chickens ffs you tree hugger. My great nan used to out in the back yard and ring one of her chickens necks everytime she cooked chicken. Not 2 fucks were given. People are way too soft these days. We are top of the food chain. Deal with it.

Reckon i'll go Nandos tonight as well as tomorrow now. PERI PERI RULES.

Then she saw somehing nasty in the woodshed and was never the same.

Country folk with country ways.

Well that's country folk for you. Reminds me of the farmer on trial for "intimate relations" with one of his pigs- his defence? "My wife was away too long". Never forget, Nailsworth is in Fred West county. :£

Would imagine Wood will sit back and counter attack, we're better equipped to handle that this year but as they'll be full of confidence a draw may result. Fancy us to win comfortably if they play an open game however.

Shots fan but I'm up in Warrington tomorrow for work and thinking of going to Macc vs Southport. Never been to Macc.
Questions for Macc fans. Is it far from the station? Where do you recommend for a pint? Can I get one at half time? How much to get in? and will it be worth it?

If Daggers are happy with a point tomorrow then so am I. Done deal.

Wood I'm not as arsed about as certain others on this forum, he needs to learn from his idiocy, not the first time he's lost his head in a match. Rhead for me a much bigger miss, would even be tempted for one up top (Marriott) for the majority of the match reverting to a three when breaking forward.

Southport at home on Saturday so a draw will be fine.

You're not appealing it? I think you could have had a case. The ball was there to go for..

Thanks for that, but absolutely no confidence in any aspect of Jon McCarthy's management skills. Our most exciting player, the teenage blonde beast Sam Hughes can't even get on the bench.

Hannah's yet to score (yet to have a shot as far as I recall), so maybe he'll be fired up. Can't see us doing anything more than scraping a win though.
Chester were the only team we did the double over last season, and have lost a few good players, but I think both times we played you we were hitting our stride - we're stumbling about at the moment, and really a game you should be taking a point from.
It was quite an entertaining 3-2 for you last season. I was disappointed that we got to 2-2 then gifted you a goal. Our manager has said that we've tightened up at the back this season, but we've conceded 6 in 3. This time last season we hadn't conceded any.

Hi mate, the more the merrier so come on down!
The ground is about a 15-20 minute walk from the station. There are a number of pubs to choose from but 'The Macc' is a decent pub on the way from the station to the ground. Alternatively, you can drink in either the Mcllroy Suite or the Corner Flag at the ground, with beer being available throughout the game. It's £13 to stand or £17 to sit if you purchase in advance (assuming you're an adult), with on the day prices being £2 more. We have a terrible record against Southport but we have played some decent football so far this season, so hopefully!

The Macc it is then on the way to the ground. Standing for £15 and beer. Decent football is something I haven't seen for the last few seasons (apart from other teams, particularly you lot at the Rec) but we have been playing some good stuff too since GW returned so will be happy to see a bit more. Look forward to it.

I love chicken, but it has to be free range and corn fed. Tastes better you see. Same with steak, lamb and any other meat, got to be reared properly to taste decent. There's a reason they smother it in fuck-off hot sauce, it's so you can't taste the shite you're eating. As for soft, I'll leave that up to you children of today, there's been many a time I've killed what I want to eat, that's what you get living in the sticks for 50 years.

Macc away is one of our easier games in what is a tough August for us, and one I'm hopeful we can get something from. We've got better each game so far, and it wouldn't surprise we if we came out on the front foot for this one.

There's murmurs amongst the faithful already and if we lose at home to Solihull Motors or whatever they're called then it will develop into UNREST.

Rage following Saturday's result was stifled because it was against an ex league club that fans had actually heard of.
I dread to think what the reaction will be like if we lose at home to The Motors.

Darren Caskey needs to get himself a ladder to try and deflect some of the anger away from Mills. It's our only hope of averting full on Wrexhageddon.

Or we could just win the game.

I booked my train down to London for this one a few hours after we did Ferriby 6-1. I was pissed. Dragging a few clueless London mates to the match then sleeping on one of their floors...

As for the game, I'd go with a score draw, can see Margetts/Marriott nicking one early and then our makeshift midfield* eventually buckling in the 80th minute or so, because Cowley hasn't completely exorcised us from being Classic Lincoln™

* if Power is fit we'll walk the game. 8-0.

Why do people think Solihull Moors are Solihull Motors? I used to think the same until very recently, and a very knowledgeable fella who stands near me said it the other day. Not like Motors is a common suffix for a football club.

I'm assuming it's to do with Vauxhall Motors who used to play in the Conference North.
I expect our unbeaten start to end tonight at Wrexham.
