Fallout 4 would be the game that will make me 100% buy one of the new consoles. Although, I'll probably buy one as soon as I get a new job anyway.

Wouldn't mind an attempt at a new DOOM game either tbh. It'd be difficult to pull of though, I reckon.

Fallout 4 and Dishonored 2 are both nailed on I reckon.

I might do a little sex wee if they announce FO4.

Planning to be out of the country for a year or two soon. I'm starting to think it might be a good idea if I put off getting a PS4 til I come back. Console with be much cheaper and I'll (hopefully) be able to play Kingdom Hearts III, The Phantom Pain and Fallout 4 back-to-back.

And maybe Final Fantasy XV. Maybe. Big fucking maybe.

True, this is Bethesda, they'd probably take about 10 years to make another.
Can't wait to see what they do with the next Elder Scrolls installment on next/new gen. (Obviously excluding the recent online release)

Dragon Age Inquisition has set a benchmark for that genre, let's see if Bethesda can better it.
Will be some fucking game if they pull it off.

Opposing the pedestrianisation of Norwich city centre!!!!
I haven't played Dragon Age Inquisition to be fair, but I've seen videos of the combat and it looks chaotic a lot of the time with lights flashing and all manner of beings fighting. It's why I prefer Skyrim because you don't get that as much.I guess other people think the combat in Skyrim is a bit tame. I strongly suspect Fallout 4 would come before the next TES, but I wouldn't mind either.

Let's be honest, even if the next Elder Scrolls turns out to be a massive disappointment, nobody's gonna be crying into their cornflakes yearning for Dragon Age Inquisition.

Will the Elder scrolls fans bang on about Skyrim or Oblivion in the same manner they do Morrowind if the next ones not exactly what they wanted?

Oblivion and Skyrim both blow Morrowind out of the water. It really hasn't aged well.

I love Oblivion and Morrowind but I didn't enjoy Skyrim all that much to be honest. It's obviously head and shoulders above its two predecessors graphically but that's about it for me.

So what is it that Morrowind does better? (Genuine question btw)
I'm never gonna get to try it but from what I've seen it doesn't look anything special but I used to see Morrowind fans ragging on Skyrim all the time

I reckon the only thing Morrowind has going for it is the fact that it did the whole open world first person RPG thing first. So people will have fond memories, notalgia, ect.

There's no way they can give up on it this far into production, if they were going to they'd have done so ages ago, probably at the point it meant it would have to be a PS4 game and not PS3. Changing the name would be logical though.

Hopefully it's a changed name and a changed platform... may as well be a PS4 game by now.

The Order which comes out Thursday is meant to have a really short campaign, 6-10 hours. No multiplayer.

Disappointed

That's pretty disgraceful in this day and age. I'd expect more single player from a PS2 game.

I really disliked Skyrim's main quest line - that's a big part of it for me. I really enjoyed Oblivion's and (to a lesser extent) Morrowind's. The same is true of the game world in Skyrim, it's pretty as anything but it doesn't have the variety of the other two games and the mountainous nature of it was a bit of a put off for me.

Yeah, I always hate trying to get around mountainous terrain on an open world game. When the place marker you're heading for is RIGHT NEXT TO YOU but there's a fucking mountain in the way... so you go all around it trying to find a way up... but it's all blocked off. When you finally give in and look online, you see there's a cave entrance about half the world away that you had to go into and it'll take you to a tunnel that gets there. Either that or you just sit on your horse jumping up vertical cliff edges and eventually make it up there.

Fair enough,
I put hours in Oblivion but can't for the life of me think what i actually did, other than put it on easy and hammer the coliseum for money.
Also i never complete the main questline, because i always think 'i'll save it for once i've done everything else' which of course never happens

Spot on, half the time I used to just turn around and moonwalk up the fucking thing - it seemed to work.
